Keyonte is the most underappreciated rookie by far. It's not only about the scoring ability. Keyonte's biggest asset is that he makes everyone else in the team look better. Super valuable player and I wouldn't honestly be surprised if after few years he was considered as the best out of current rookies.
LOL, 38% 30% currently. 37% 33% in college. the idea that he ever becomes a go to scorer is insane. You have elite talent in this crop and guys like Hawkins are off to a NBA record start as a 3pt shooter
@@taylor_m_237He’s a rookie. He also shot 46 % and 44% from 3 in SL and was the best player there as a rookie, Hawkins will never be a on ball guy just a shooter.
Thank you so much bro for making this! I’m a jazz fan and when he’s on the court everything just flows better. He’s a great passer and facilitater. He’s something special
Keyonte is what the Jazz need tbh, he’s like conley when it comes to staying calm n setting up his teammates but scoring wise he reminds me of Bradley Beal He’s smooth with it
Excited to look back on all these videos when this generation of players are in year 10 etc and see who set themselves apart from the others. Great content per usual.
This kid has one of the smoothest jump shots I’ve EVER seen. It’s Curry-esqe. Obviously he’s adjusting to the NBA, but the shot mechanics are just BEAUTIFUL.
hes surprised me with how well he is adapting to being an NBA 1 guard. If he can continue to develop as a facilitator he is going to be really good. It is a little weird that Utah has all these guards and none are true point guards though.
Let this kid get more confidence and if he gets more aggressive on the offense he will have a long career here in the league his game reminds me of Mike Conley
Well he has been studying Mikes game from film. Expecially how he played with Lauri. Then he has been practising to delivering the ball on the spots Lauri likes to get it so that he could compliment Lauri well. I think that's pretty high IQ move from the rook 😄
Again I will say this: “not only did the Timberwolves trade us Walker Kessler (Rudy Gobert 2.0), they also traded us Keyante George (Donovan Mitchell 2.0).”
Yeah, he was number 10 on their list of who they wanted and Taylor was number 9. When both were available they were thinking it through. Then they tried to move up on the board later when they realized that he was falling lower than they thought he would. They couldn't move up but he fall to they so all is well that ends well 😃
Anthony Edwards? No, he's a young Jamaal Murray (Nuggets), and in a couple of years he will have the body too. But he should take a couple years on the bench like Murray too.
Not so much of an issue on this video (moreso on the ivey video for example) but it might be worth rounding your stats/splits. At least to the nearest .5. I enjoy your videos and you clearly work hard, but giving a statline of like 14.3pt 6.6rb 3.8 ast on 48.7 / 35.6 / 82.3 kills the pacing of the video. I dont think having .1 decimal precision is value added. I watch your vids mostly audio only so narrating every number really slows it down
Great video but i hear room for improvement on your pronunciation. Or the accent is too heavy, i just had trouble understanding what you were saying several times. This is not to mock you but to help you grow.
If he consistently was shooting 38% every game in college I would agree. But his numbers in college reflect highs and lows rather than consistently being bad. Which is common with young guards.
Bros mad Hawkins got ranked below him in the ringer rookie rankings😂 Keyonte has higher ceiling than Hawkins and will be a better overall player by far lol doesn’t take a genius to know that.

I agree
Crack is one hell of a drug stay off it kids 😅

One of the best he’s not better than Ausar or Wemby
Thank you so much bro for making this! I’m a jazz fan and when he’s on the court everything just flows better. He’s a great passer and facilitater. He’s something special
Y’all got a steal
Keyonte is what the Jazz need tbh, he’s like conley when it comes to staying calm n setting up his teammates but scoring wise he reminds me of Bradley Beal
He’s smooth with it
Yup
Shot quality difference with him on and off the floor is crazy for a rookie. We’re so lucky to have gotten him at 16
🫡🔥

Masai Ujiri messed up again!! What a GOOF!
Good work. I’ll go a step further and put you on notice that this guy is gonna be a superstar if he can stay healthy. Go KG. Jazz rule.
I don’t throw the superstar label around like that but I would love if he becomes one
This channel is a vault of gems
He changed & improved the offensive flow for the Jazz for sure!
Great script man! Very smooth content and great take
Keyonte George bout to take over THT's position as the franchise's starting PG
keyonte/ jazz and hawkins/ pelicans are special
Hawkins a special shooter fr
Keyonte is a beast favorite player on the jazz tbh

thank you i been wondering who would talk a this
Ausar Thompson next Scottie Pippen
Honestly the only thing that stops talented scoring guards is injuries because they draft your replacement every year.
That’s what makes his playmaking jump so encouraging
Yes! He's saving our team.
Let this kid get more confidence and if he gets more aggressive on the offense he will have a long career here in the league his game reminds me of Mike Conley
Interesting

He’s the one that’s gonna sneak up on people
Yup
Again I will say this: “not only did the Timberwolves trade us Walker Kessler (Rudy Gobert 2.0), they also traded us Keyante George (Donovan Mitchell 2.0).”
I'm pretty sure the Jazz said they were back and forth taking him at 9th pick. He just looks really comfortable on the floor as a rookie
Yeah, he was number 10 on their list of who they wanted and Taylor was number 9. When both were available they were thinking it through. Bro just had 30 on the thunder wit 7 assists

Keyonte like a Chianti will age just fine!
!!!

I respect your opinion but most Basketball UA-camrs do the same thing I do lol
#2 pick Scoot Henderson
Shooting 34.6 /.095/85.7
Ast/To = 1.15 PPS = 0.85
#16 pick Keyonte George
Shooting 38.5/30.4/82.4
Ast/To = 2.82 PPS = 1.13
Ok
scoot was the 3rd pick
He can be like a trae young type player. A good scorer and very good playmaker
You bball iq Is bad lmao
He seems solid. Looks extra young lol
😭😭😭😭
Oh yeah for sure. Dude was a teenager last week 😂😂😂
Emoni Bates too
We’ll see about that
🔥🔥🔥
🫡
He is fluid and looks like a John Stockton-esque, cool!
Oh
Brandon Podziemski 👀
ngl i think it's jordan hawkins...
the best that nobody is talking about BUT not the best
Well yeah, that’s what the title suggests lol
Sad cuz 1 pick later and he could have been a Laker. He’s going to be sick very soon.
His game reminds me of Brad Beal
That’s a really good comp
Keyonte gwowge
Keyonte George reminds me of a more disciplined Jordan Poole
Don’t hate that comp tbh
Sauced up the suns pretty good last night!! He needs more minutes tbh. Jazz need to move on from sexton haha.
Great video but i hear room for improvement on your pronunciation. Or the accent is too heavy, i just had trouble understanding what you were saying several times. This is not to mock you but to help you grow.
Trust me brother I’m trying lol
keep it up! good video@@TerranovaBasketballStudy
make a vid abt brandon miller
Once he comes back from injury
He looks like he's in 10th grade.
I mean he just turned 20 lol
he is shooting 38% 30%, in college he shot 37% 33%. Saying you expect his shooting to improve is kind of hopeful thinking

He was only in college for what? Two years? Range and selection will improve. His shot looks super nice.
