    Another great no nonsense video featuring Mick. Thoroughly enjoy listening to this man. Joe you could have lent Mick your big net for the carp though. What a shame Boddington isn't closer to home because even I would enjoy a day with the pole up there. Obviously I would only catch 10% of what Mick caught but it looks a cracking venue. Once again more of these please Mick/Joe because they even keep a specimen angler entertained

      @ yeah the Thames will be out of action for 10-14 days after this weekend’s rain. Mind you there will be more features to fish to with the trees that have gone over lol

    Great watch, top dangling 👍 wonder how a silver fish match would fair on there? Sure you would get a good turn out 😉

      @NuFish  3 дні тому +1

      Angling trust have run a few silverfish matches on there with excellent results and great weights of roach

    Lovely video Mick.
    It's great when you hook the bottom and it starts moving. I've had 4 carp over 20lb on the pole now biggest 26lb 6. I'm still after the 30 pounder but I'm just as happy to get out and catch anything. 👍

    Very well done on landing that hippo on lite tackle Mick, i am now using zipp elastic and finding it very good, That perch is why the roach were a bit off, very good video Nufish, Thank you,

    Pure class. Try Clattercote just down the road from there, very similar and stuffed with roach and perch, and then it will go quiet and zip off with carp .

    Great advice how many anglers would just plod on instead of switching to corn to sort out the bigger roach

    Can you explain your elastic set up? You said something about only elasticating the number 1 section. how do you do this?

    • @NuFish
      @NuFish  3 дні тому +1

      Just the number one of a two piece top kit with a traditional bung in the base. simple stuff

    Eh'up Mick Ordinarily Vials. Just wondering why you didn't thread the line through the inline body of the 1g Bulk float whereas you did use the inline on the .75g?

    • @NuFish
      @NuFish  18 годин тому +1

      It was just an old sample float before we decided the inline body was needed 👍🏻
