I can't believe your channel is for free! Watching your tutorial really feels like digging gold!!! But the knowledge depth really blocks out most of the common users in youtube. After all colour grading for many of them is just simply put on existing 3DLUTs

Another great tutorial, more tools to work with =) I have a question that hopefully you can answer, What do the input log and output log options do, how do i use them? I dont fully understand them.

EightZero Four Thank you! They are mostly used for videos, or for raw conversion in 3D LUT Creator. There are some videos about log format on the channel, check them if you wish.

    Hi, Oleg,
Could you clarify the instructions beginning at 12:05 for clicking on the color swatches using the Exact tool? At first, you mention using Shift+click to make sure that other samples "switch." Then, you tell us to Alt+click on each color swatch with the Exact tool then left-click on them immediately afterward. It's hard to tell when you're clicking on each swatch in the video because there's no way to tell from the video when you're using Alt+click and then when the left-click comes. I can guess that it's happening, but I can't follow the changes on screen to the colors to see what's happening.
I'm also confused about the changes in Saturation that your technique produces. Before picking colors from the highlights, midtones, and shadows to add to the color palette, you tell us to increase the Saturation slider in the A/B grid. When we start using the Exact tool on the color swatches, I can see the Saturation values returning to their original values because I'm watching the HSP values. If we're increasing the Saturation in the A/B grid, why are we changing it in the Curves with the Exact tool? It feels like we're taking one step forward in the A/B grid then one step back with Curves and Exact.
I'm basically lost about how this technique is working.
