Using Color Charts for Color Matching with 3D LUT Creator

Short comparison made by Uli Plank of much more advanced 3D LUT Creator software with Resolve functions in very practical tasks. Using color charts is amazing and quick way for matching color across your multiple cameras and such sofwtare functions save lot of your time.

Does the Resolve 3D Lut Creator plugin has the matrix or you need the full 3D Lut Creator for that?

I didn't know resolve out any video editor had those color charts. That's great. Now I don't have to do the editing manually, color by color.
Would be nice if premiere had this too. If I'm doing smaller projects and don't need the best color grading, I'd rather edit in premiere

You can use 3D Lut Creator to make LUT and just use it in Premiere :-)

But aren't lut kinda destroying the image unlinke curves ? I wouldn't feel too good using a lut right at the first node...

No, mathematically each curve modification can be represented as LUT :-)
Check 3dlutcreator.com/ is you want to experiment with doing complex grades

Yes, if you go into clipping they do. So watch your scopes.
