I got the very first gameboy when it came out and got Tetris with it. I loved it so much, and so did my dad. I also used to play or get him to get a high score so I could listen to this music at night to fall asleep to. One day he taped it onto a 90min cassette for me. One of the few really happy memories from my childhood, and I thank you for ripping this. These tears are welcome and long overdue.
This music fills me with happiness. I still play Tetris and I don't care if anyone says I'm old fashioned with games or something. This game is the number one of all games. My childhood was full of Tetris games starting with the tengen one. This game will never die
I never played tetris when it just came out (bcuz i wasn't even born 🤣🤣🤣🤣)but i discovered it in early 2021 with tetris 99 (actually it wasn't a discovery, i played it on those 9999 in 1 chinese consoles when i was 5 or 6) and since then it pinned into the first place of my favorite games list (why i say pinned?, Bcuz pokemon is the 2nd in the list, and i like pokemon a lot, but i refuse to put tetris into a lower place)
I want to dedicate this theme to one of my dear cousins who once had this game when we were kids. I'd eventually get Tetris for myself at 10 years old, but hearing this makes me think of this particular cousin who recently passed away. Love ya, cuz. RIP 😞
It's good to hear from you, blakfloyd! @@silhouettoofaman2935 I think that was the intent, but something about it sounds kinda like a child's lullaby to me, that or maybe it's trying too hard to be comforting, so much that it's accidentally coming across as condescending, I dunno. Anyway, I had the craziest dream of falling in love with this alien chick, right? Like hard mushy love. But she had to leave, and go back to her planet, and it broke my heart in the dream. When I woke up, and realized it was just a dream, I was destroyed. I dunno what the hell was up with me, but for 10 minutes I just laid there crying to the music as the feeling started to fade away.
