As someone who has owned a Grom, I can say the Sur Ron is def way more fun for the simple fact that I can easily go on/ off-road whenever needed.. and that it’s super quiet!!
Had a grom now I have a surron instead. Prefer the sur ron since I have a ninja 400 for the street. If I only had a sur ron I’d miss having an engine after a while.
I have no experience when it comes to that would love to do it myself but would have to learn from a professional before I trusted making one and putting it in my bike
Building the batteries is pretty easy, actually acquiring the batteries seems like a pain. Either I buy from alibaba, wait months on shipping, and I won't know if the batteries are legit until they arrive. Or I buy from a place in the states and it'll cost way more than $700, negating the whole point.
Sorry, but I just can't understand those small wheels.....To me big guys on these little wheels just looks crazy. It like....I want to be Surronster!!!

My biggest struggle is my wood plank seat
Great vids man, you inspired me to get a surron, and they are so fun! Thank you!
That's awesome! Glad we can inspire people to try new things! Thank you!!! For the support!
im thinking of getting one as a daily in a small town, you think that's possible?
Very possible! That's exactly what I built mine for! Can easily commute 30+ miles at 30+mph!
@@gripnrip4106 awesome! and do you trust a lock if you leave it outside or do you try to keep it with you
@@saltyy9936 I try to always have it with me/ keep my eye on it!
I'm already $7K + on mine... love it!
Best worst investment ever🤣🤣
@@gripnrip4106 lolol dude i have a sur ron, a stealth bomber, razor rsf650, gokart pro... i feel your pain indeed lol
The pistons in my stock brakes seized up after about 1k km. They're not very good.
I love how you all spend 3k on the battery when you can build one for 700
If you’re willing to work on it for three months and risk the whole thing spontaneously combusting

@@gripnrip4106 Believe me its not that hard just get a spot welder and go to forums
Sounds easy, try it.

Nice! I just wonder about how many miles? My place is the island is 90 miles. And sur ron x is better than other?
I can go about 50 miles on a charge! Id definitely get a sur ron over pretty much all other electric bikes!
@@gripnrip4106 50 miles? Not bad. Thanks!
