That 107 moves the both of you around pretty dang well! I hear a lot of put downs on the small engine karts, people saying two adults; there's no way! But your video proves it can be done. Sure, its not the fastest in the world, but the ear to ear smiles on your face explain all you need to know. Keep up the cool videos, I can't wait to see the next transformation/upgrades for pugly!
Stay with the 107 I got my daughter the Tao Tao Jeep and it moves pretty good just change the oil in it do the exhaust and intake and maybe a sprocket change and you’ll be happy I got between 30 and 35 out of my daughters stock and I’m 240 lbs . I have a short video of me driving it and it ain’t to bad for what it is and it’s still stock . Walp looks like I need to do a video with a speed test on a gps with it . I have one of them. Mine came with a 110 cc. 5 speed automatic with reverse. Motor was trash when I got it. I extended the frame 10 in. Extended the steering column 7 in. I'm putting a Kawasaki 440cc two cylinder off a 84 LTD on it. I had to extend the swing arm to hold it. Still working on it, but getting close. Can't wait. Will let you know how it runs when I get that far... Love this channel. Very inspirit!!!

Well those are a few ideas off top of my head. Hopefully they're useful to ya. That's what I'd do. I wanna build myself a 2seater buggy with a cbr600-1000cc or gsxr750-1000cc. Unfortunately A few years ago my garage was broken into and most of my tools were stolen. So I've been trying to get myself built back up. I have to get a welder, pipe gender, powder coating setup AGAIN,.. Dam 💩rogues.. So when i get necessities I plan on doin a build. Watching your vids; You guys really inspired me,.. many THX!!! Big bore it but when you order the kit Also order a 4 speed transmission for it. Since you'll be opening the cases already, the transmission just drops in the place of old one. Unless you have the three speed with reverse those transmissions are harder to find. But big bore and another gear you'd be flying down the road. Great vid keep em coming, never stop the fun

I decided to buy a Yerf Dog 3203 (just like yours) and put a 212 on it and now that its at stage 3 I hit 46 mph all thanks to all of your tips, tricks, and entertainment. Now I am making a Volkswagen Beach Buggy and took 9th in state in welding after watching your content. Keep up the good work and lets get that 670cc to 70 mph! Plus, I would love to see a big bore on the Pugly it would be great, maybe bigger tires if you want.
Might as well go all out and use the 200cc 5speed; with big bore kit 250cc or really stroke it out to a 307 with 4mm. or 10mm stroker crank. Maybe I'm thinking of a Banshee build(2stroke).. Also could port & polish head.. Either way I'm sure it'll be fine🤭.. Looking forward to seeing it.🤪👍..
I reckon a mini turbo setup would be wicked, definetely needs more travel and more rubber! :) Should totally take it on an off road adventure - cross a mountain or something i dunno. Take camping gear fuel water whatever you can fit in the tray!
Something to keep in mind when you sit back on it its gonna loosen then chain. From dirt bikes to a solid frame go kart always always have someone sitting on it when you tighten up a chain helps with wear also.
I have a different version of this go kart, (looks very similar) used to have a 90cc automatic and I put a 212 with a torque converter in it and it’s actually a beast. Well worth the effort
If you end up changeing that throttle cable. Be sure to put a good amount of waterproof grease on the actual cable. Before installing cable in to housing makes it smooth as butter forever

Please guys, be completely MAAAAAAAAAAD with it and put a freaking CAR OR SPORTBIKE ENGINE !!! It would be different than putting a 212 like you did many times and it would make it fast as hell !! That could do a very interesting and unusual project !
I did some horse trading for the youth model of that kart last Christmas and it had been sitting outside for a year or two and didn't even bother with the factory engine. Cut it all off the lower frame of the swing arm and welded in an engine mount on the swing arm for a 212 predator. Slapped a torque converter and some paint and my 8 year old hasn't been off it since. Cool part was I got him to help me work on it under the aucpicous that we were working on it for a friend's son for his Christmas present. The entire time he was begging me to let him "test ride" it. It worked out so that he couldn't test ride it before Christmas day since we finished working on it the afternoon of Christmas Eve. We loaded it up in the truck and I set it out behind the barn and stayed away for a couple of hours. The next morning he had this huge box under the tree with a bunch of bricks and news paper in it and a treasure map in the bottom. He was so disappointed with it till he found the map, it took him less than a minute to follow the clues and came running back inside screaming about how awesome it was, one of our better Christmas mornings.
Keep the 110cc! There's loads of mods can be done to them to make more power, cam, ports, big bore, valves, carb, CDI... smog pump charger! They're the same engines as on the Honda CT110 postie bikes used here in New Zealand and Auzzy, they have a bit of a cult following so there's quite a few aftermarket bits available. Plus they're an over head cam rather than a push rod and probably half the weight of a 212cc... plus 3 speed!
I own pugly brother. Mine is colored blue. I toke the 110cc three speed motor out. Put on a 212cc predator. Added a Bluetooth radio. Tool box. And build a little trailer for it too.
You guys should mod the frame to batter fit both of you or to build one with 2 people in mind you guys are doing great and i like watching you videos everyday when i get home never stop.
I would go with a 110cc atv e ngine, three speed with revers. The reason I say that is you keep the electric start and you can lightly mod it cheap and still keep good powet, thats where the 212 would let you down.
212 w/reverse much easier to deal with in the end... also while your at it, pickup a pile of tarps so the water problem is prevented in the future. can you adapt a 212 to the transmission? or even swap it all out with a kawasaki 125cc from a dirtbike?

Keep that engine! You mentioned at least 5 times how beefy, and fun it was and that's with two grown adult men on it. Upgrade the carb, new better tires... and paint it so it isn't so pugly anymore. :)

Works good. I would put slightly taller tires and lower gearing on it. Big bore won't give much more power with that small of an engine.
