I bought soundcore q20i's for about $45 but they started cracking from the hinges only after a month of use. So i contacted soundcore customer service and sent them the headphones, they replied saying that they cant repair it and dont have a brand new one in stock and gave me two options, either wait or they just send me a refurbished one. I took advantage of this situation and told them that they provide me a brand new one in a week or give me refurbished peice of a better headset. At first they were providing me a q35 but i rejected it as you can get a refurbished q35 for about $35. So after a couple of days they messaged me that they can provide me a refurbished soundcore space one (blue). When i read their mail i was so happy but before accepting i made sure that if i dont like the condition of the product i could return it within a week and get a refund. When the product arrived i was astonished to see that the refurb was exactly like a brand new one with absolutely zero dirts and scratches that i had expected. And they are a beast , atleast for me as i literally got them for like $45. So yeah i just wanted to share this and if anyone faces a similar issue just ask them a refurb of a better model they are just like brand new.
So good to see your review, there are many headphones on the market now that can last up to 140 hours and are very affordable, I hope to see these reviews on your channel!👍
I have these headphone and you're the second reviewer I've seen say these headphones have a lot of bass but my space one headphones don't have a lot of bass. I have the headphones set to the sound core default sound settings. I commented on the other reviewers video that my headphones don't have lots of bass and somebody that produces music replied to my comment agreeing that there really isn't a lot of bass in their headphones too. It must be found to how the device you're using to listen to the headphones. I've used my headphones on a Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter going from my TV and I've used them on my Redmi Note 12 pro 5g and I've used them on my Amazon fire tablet 2023 and I don't hear that bass you're talking about. Also to reduct that latency / AV sync disable dual connection if you don't need to connect two devices to the headphones. I used the headphones primarily for watching TV and when I had dual connection enabled the AV sync was way off. I disabled dual connection and now the AV sync problem is un noticeable. The claim that they block 98% of sound is a huge exaggeration. I'm not saying the active noise cancelling isn't good. It is very good but I would say they block 60% - 70% noise at most. They leave through a good bit of higher frequencies. They primarily aim at mids and some low frequencies. I'm on my second pair because the hinge where they fold inwards broke on one side after five months. I do like the headphones a lot especially for how much money I paid for them. I also have the SOUNDCORE SPACE Q45 and I prefer the space Q45 over the space one. The Q45 are a small bit better at ABC and sound that little bit better.
Hmm I'm using PowerAMP maybe that has a lot to do with it. I found these quite punchy a bit over done and highs could be a bit better. Oh yeah 98% defiantly not and how do they even measure that? BUt it did seem above average at voices I was testing train station ambient tracks it was better than others. Overall great ANC.
Just starting watch the video, Chris. I was just wondering whether these or another set of headphones has usb c to usb c for listening? Not a massive fan of wireless
@@Techtablets thanks Chris, appreciate that. Unfortunately, I don't have a 3.5mm jack on my phone anymore so wouldn't be able to use that. And the 3.5mm to USBC adapters are always garbage
Hello Chris. I've watched entire summary review. What is better sounding than those? I mean in this price category or higher? Add more cash and but for example xm5 or bower&wilkins? Regards!
Good review as always mate. Happy with my Liberty 4 NC (BOught due to your review) But I do disagree with you on the mic sample it sounds a bit muffled to my ears not very good.
@@Techtablets Oh okay mate thanks for the reply! Guess now that you say it removed all the noise then that's much better. Still got my Q45 so keeping them!
NOrmally they don't do well such videos. But I did the OnePlus 12 phone 6 months later and it did okay but most of the time people move on don't care and only want new products!
@@Techtablets Thanks for info, I did not know that. Certainly it is also interesting how a product stacks up after a while. So what are the most popular videos, if I may ask? I know you can't do bikini hauls or such :)
Bikini hauls haha. Well the camera comparisons for one normally do well and then the products on release. I just recently tired the camera comparison6 months later and no much interested as when the phones are under a month old.
It's good, the main thing is I can be heard and it blocked out the ambient track I was playing in the background of a busy London tube station noise. So that's I said it was good.
@@bloodybarron Hi Barron, well there was an ambient track with a train station noise in the background that it pretty much completely removed most of the that and only I was heard.
Yes but it is summer here and very humid, like crazy humid 90%. Maybe I'm different but most overears I can't wear for that long however in-ears I can no problems on long haul flights.
Makes sense if you look at the data bitrates pushed, LDAC transmits far more data than SBC or AAC codecs and therefor using way more energy in the process.
Soundcore space a40 has a maximum of 5.1 hour battery anc on in single charge and you said it has a 7 hour battery in single charge. I thought you are honorable UA-camr but guess i was wrong.
😂Obviously you don't watch Chris much he is one of the most trusted which is why I'm subbed, bought so many products he recommended and no issues. But I guess Chris sometimes makes mistakes so that makes him dishorable? You should back to watching MKBHD and Mrwhostheboss mate if you want pretty looking adverts!
Hmm it's been a while now but that's what I got then, many factors it depends on the volume used. ANC on or off, bass heavy tracks also use more battery and the big one the codec used. If you get 5 hours only then you must have a bad battery or they changed something.
@@bloodybarron sir your account is 2 years old and I'm watching him about 2,3 years or more than that, and that's why I stayed with him so long because of honest reviews but that space A40 changed my minds a little
1. Not removing any comments maybe YT spam filter is. 2) It's sponsored by AliExpress not the brand, it's a review with criticism if you watch it. 3) According to you everything has spyware so don't use the app and don't by it...

So many people seem to believe the channel operators removing comments, but in the very most case it's the stupid YT algo. And I personally believe someone can say the same but a bit friendlier, not like an assumption that's most likely even wrong. It's time for a Eurotube.
I have both. The noise cancelling is slightly better with the Q45. But if you're sensitive to the white noise that some headphones have with noise cancelling enabled then you're better off with the space one. There's very little difference in sound quality between the two but I find the Q45 block noise a small bit more. And the battery lasts that small bit longer with the Q45. They're just as comfortable. They feel the same when wearing them but the Q45 is a much sturdier.
