Great guitar. It has its own identity. Brilliant
Good review and fab playing fella
great review pal
Hey Phil, I truly appreciate your review on this guitar. I'm currrently looking for another one that I can grow witth. By the looks of this one, I felt tempted, yet listening to the actual sound, I just realised after watching your video that there are other acoustic guitars I'm eager to purchase instead. So now I'm clsoing the book to this one and continuing my thorough research. Thanks again. Keep on the good track. M
Good demo of a decent guitar. Well done.
Sounds beautifull
I’ve owned one of these since 2020 and it’s one of my two main gigging guitars. I’ve used it live extensively and it’s a great sounding, solid guitar. The only problem I’ve had was that the nut cracked in the G slot but that was an easy fix. It’s pretty heavy for a long, standing up gig. A friend has a J200 and when we A/B’d them there was little difference in sound.
I've got its cheapo cousin, the gjm sge - I bought it as a beater, SH, for £150 and it's my favourite guitar - sigmas are always terrific bang for the buck
I've had mine for a year or so and I just love it. I had my local tech sort it out before bringing it home, they don't come out of the factory ready to roll and at their best, if they did you could add an extra $400 AUD onto the price. I'm 70 and I've been around so believe me a great luthier can bring any guitar back to life.
Hi Mr! Could you drop some knowledge on waht to do with it to get it to sound as good as it can get? I am about to buy one, and would love some pointers one what to ask for when giving it to the shop for some customization
3:50 Country Feedback. I love playing that progression on acoustic too lol
👍
Man!!! Why can’t I find the AMI GJA SG200??
Hi guys. As a jumbo guitar, does it have a loud and bassy sound? Thank you.
Yes it does, dark and sweet
Hi, i wanna know what is the difference between sigma gja-sg200 and gja-sg200+ ??
Could you please explain it for me
Thanks in advance
Если стоит + значит бридж не из дерева, а из синтетического материала
@@user-oi7lr2kj1m thanks for your reply, but I couldn't understand at all 😂😂
Great video bro! Did you know the difference to the GJA-SG200? The non + version?
I allways find the non + version and on the sigma Website there is no plus version listed:(
EXACTLY. I wanna ask the same.
@@teib757 Today there are only one model zu buy. It is the version with the micara...
@@vVachtern ye I figured that one. So, the + means its version 2?
@@teib757 yes:)
@@vVachtern thank you!
I actually asked a shop once. They had the + one but they literally couldnt tell me what it means.
Thanks for the demo. I just sold my Epiphone J200, and I am ordering the Sigma. It’s a way better guitar.
Is the epi not all solid wood. The sigma isnt
@@guimarboy Actually the Epi was all solid wood. Solid Maple, solid spruce. It suffered from Polyurothaneitis.
@@paulgeorgia8013 So how has it been with Sigma?
@@LegsON I just got my Sigma in beautiful Royal Blue , and it’s a massive improvement over the Epi J200
@@paulgeorgia8013 Is Royal Blue one of the all-solid models?🤔
Which is better sigma or epiphone inspired by Gibson
I've had both and the GJA-SG200 Sigma sounded better even though you need to get the early first issue GJA-SG200 Sigma's as they had Rosewood fret boards rather than the guitars made after 2018 when Sigma introduced the horrible (because of CITIES) Micarta fretboard which is a man made substitute. The older and better ones can be identified because they had the martin style headstock logo. They are much rarer though as Sigma only made them 2016-18.
Micarta is a synthetic material, not wood.
Sigma guitars looks and sound amazing....Almost like a Gibson j200. (No offense but parts of your guitar are dirty☹You should consider cleaning it before making a video). Thanks!
This model is not all solid, b&s are laminate. The all solid model has an S in front of the name. Making it SGJA-SG200. All the solid Sigmas have an S as the first letter in the name. I have the solid model and it’s better than my two Gibsons a J15 and a Hummingbird.
Micarta is a species of Ebony.
Not true its a man made substitute en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micarta
Micarta is a man made synthetic material. Also used in switchboards. Very hard and strong.
