As I've said before, it's really intimidating taking on such a classic video game song. You have to take extreme care in not deviating away from the things people love about the original song and to make it different enough to be enjoyable not like the other five million covers of it. I transferred a lot of the lead parts to the rhythm guitar track to add clarity for the spots I wanted. If you listen closely, you can hear a high frequency sqeak everyonce in a while. After failing to find out what was causing it, I just assumed that EzDrummer needed WD-40 on the bass pedal. It happens. I mean, who's there to do maintenence on a synthesized drum machine? Not this guy.

Super impressed by the melody crafting in the first solo riff, especially at 0:48. Shows a true love for sonic games/music. Don't know how many people caught it, but you took part of the tonal progression for City Escape on Sonic Adventure 2, made it your own and incorporated it into Green Hill Zone. Fantastic Easter egg and very creative. Bravo.

I gotta say this one is one of your better mixed recordings. The lead guitar doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like in some other videos. Not that your playing is bad. You're very talented and I envy your ability to put these together so well. I also enjoy when you conclude your solos and then overlap the end of the solos with the main melody to transition back into the song. Very well done sir.
This hits me right in the feels. My first memories are filled with the original Sonic game as I turned 3 the year it came out.
I am feeling very nostalgic and I only ever played this game at the orthodontist as a kid haha. Unbelievable what theme music for old video games brings back.

I really like the way you ended this song. I love listening to game music but all too often when a trick is uploaded, it's is simply looped twice and then fades out on the third loop but here you've arranged the music very well. Great cover! :)

I love this cover because you gave it your style and grace. Don't be afraid to make variations by adding your style, you made some excellent and exciting contributions to the versions you pulled off nicely of the A and B Theme's from Tetris and I wasn't pissed or anything, I mean if a song cover should sound the same as the original then why even bother to render a tribute to it. But that's just my humble opinion.
