I've read that Georg wrote over 3,000 compositions but over half of them were lost! Probably due to 2 disastrous World Wars! Shameful. Still, just like with Vermeer, I'm grateful for the work by Telemann which has survived!
JohnPhillipJaeger : Surely it was Handel who beat Wolfgang to it with his late oratorio Solomon and the queen's arrival. c1748. But then can also detect shades of Georg's pal-JSB's - earlier Brandenburg phrasing in this elegant work. Perhaps illustrates how their music was exchanged or copied.
This opus, TWV 53, was published around 1733 and had to be the Number One Hit for thirty-five years, until it was upstaged by Wolfgang. You go, Georg.

Det var rigtig flot , men hvorfor var der andre violinspillere i baggrunden, der også spillede på violin, som vi ikke så. Det var underligt..........
They’re playing the violin grosso part, and the video is only focused on the soloists
