@@PokemonHaloFani remember my first playthrough when I was young. The damn thing killed me after no save being deep in the phazon mines. I didn't know wtf was attacking me. Then I learned about the wave buster years later haha
Fun fact, The Flamethrower Charge Combo is generally useless, with its limited range and rapid missile consumption. However, it’s also the only weapon in Metroid Prime that ignores the Beam Shields Elite Pirates and the Omega Pirate use outside of the Power Bombs, making it a handy weapon during the Omega Pirate fight.
It's ironic, because the Plasma Beam is the strongest beam, yet it's missile combo is regarded as the least useful. I still like using it when I can though. =)
Rather for echos, you'd prolly do no it rather than damageless, or no hit for the dark aether bosses and damageless for the light aether bosses and emperor ING and dark samus 3/4.
it is and it isn't because of the light and dark mechanics it is possible to beat the bosses without taking damage from the bosses themselvesbut because of the light and dark mechanics in that game pretty much throughout the whole entire game you're taking some sort of damage which really made the game so epic and one of the best metroids ever madebecause it made you feel like there's a possibility you could die at any moment let alone for fighting a boss
I still find it weird how Flaahgra's boss music was glitched in the original Gamecube version. It only played the 1st 10 seconds of the song and then it just loops. Other versions of Prime (including the one in Trilogy that's used here) fixed it to properly play the full song.
When taking the usual “one game per franchise” rule into account, this is definitely one of my Top Five Favorite Games of All Time! (Also, congrats on perfecting all the game’s bosses) 😊
Something I don’t like about Metroid Prime is that it seems to limit the weapons to a few specific mechanics. The Morph Ball bombs a limited to have Samus jump in Morph Ball mode and each of the beam variations are limited to opening doors and attacking specific enemies, due to their elemental components.
That’s partly why I like Echoes better, it really did a great job utilizing every mechanic to its fullest. Plus the ammo count with dark and light beams added new levels of strategy to the combat imo
How does your comment not pertain to Echeos when the exact same issues you have are also in that game. Morph Ball bombs are still niche in the 2nd game, only really needed for bomb jumping and defeating two bosses, same as in Prime The elements beams all have different characteristics: Power beam is fast but weak Wave beam stun locks Ice Beam freezes (only charged dark Shot does that and not even to all enemies) Plasma beam is strong and with good rate of fire
I want another Thardus as the boss of Magmoor Caverns with a smoke screen and lava fisures instead of ice spikes. Imagine if Sheegoth Prime was a boss in Phenondra Drifts?

Could you not scan Flaaghara's tentacles in the Wii version? I've only ever played the Gamecube version and it took me forever to get 100% completion until I realized his tentacles could be scanned. Amazing video and gameplay. Just curious is all.
I've never seen anybody who can hold a Wii remote that still, and it's not locked to the center, so I'm leaning towards emulation, with a mouse bound to the Wii pointer.
Why are you shooting at the Sheegoth when it's not vulnerable to attack? You're literally just wasting missiles. Such a weird thing to do, yet you seem to know about the Thardus morphball glitch...
This man actually included the Cloaked Drone. Finally, someone who remembered!
The only Metroid Prime series boss who can't be scanned. Probably the reason it's often overlooked.

It's so funny to see this guy do Prime's bosses damageless while in Echoes it's literally impossible lol

It's still probably theoretically possible to beat the bosses with out taking a HIT as apposed to completely damageless.

@@LegoSonic-p2f this sounds like a core memory
Metroid Prime is such an awesome fight, how it evolved into Dark Samus was cool too.
The Prime trilogy, Mario Galaxy duology, and Twilight Princess are the Golden Trinity of Dark Nintendo Games
Why Galaxy???
Eternal Darkness, Fire Emblem 4, Geist, Advance Wars Days of Ruin are some darker Nintendo games
Wii was the best nintendo console besides n64 or maybe snes
What you talking about, Mario Galaxy ain’t dark. It’s fantastical.
Mfs forgetting that Nintendo made mother 3
You said no damage but you got hit by that rock in the cutscene after you beat thardus 👀😏 23:27
Yep I saw it too. This run is over.
What about when the defeated Omega Pirate collapses on Samus? Would that qualify as being damaged? 😆
but still took no damage so we made it

Oh that's why it sounds odd to me. I have only ever played the Gamecube version.
I was blown away when I played the trilogy version. I didn't know there was more to the song. The song is badass for a boss too.
God I love this game. The polish it had. The huge CHUNCKY parts of it. Ah...Good memories
The suit upgrade cutscenes in Prime 1 are still among the best cutscenes in the series
I have to mention how good the music is in this game, especially for the bosses.
They can create literally any Metroid games, but the primes will be my favorite forever :V
Even Hunters and Federation Force?
@@Henry-x3r6e ok lets not get crazy\

Holy shit! I never noticed that before
"She is one hit off, get her"
I'm impressed you managed to beat these without taking damage, that's practically impossible for me.

Bro this game will never get old I still wish I had it😪
Same here man, lives rent free in my head.
Am I the only one who’s frightened of the bosses in this game
19:30 Hey look, everyone! It’s Gorignak from Galaxy Quest!
Happy 20th Anniversary!!
Man, I remember trying my damnedest to dodge attacks long enough for me to get the scan.
That trigger finger 😳🔥
I live metroid prime but I constantly have to take breaks because my left index finger starts getting stiff
Bosses Easiest to Hardest
1. Plated Beetle (Chozo Ruins) 3
2. Parasite Queen (Space Pirate Frigate) 1
3. Hive Mecha (Chozo Ruins) 2
4. Cloaked Drone (Phazon Mines) 9
5. Incinerator Drone (Chozo Ruins) 4
6. Sheegoth (Phendrana Drifts) 6
7. Phazon Elite (Phazon Mines 10
8. Elite Pirates (Phazon Mines) 8
9. Flaahgra (Chozo Ruins) 5
10. Thardus (Phendrana Drifts)
11. Meta Ridley (Tallon Overworld)
12. Metroid Prime Core (Impact Crater)

the prime series would do well on a nintendo vr system

This game looks like it's due for a HD Remaster.
Ask and you shall receive my friend!!
How do you shoot so fast with the WiiMote? I couldn't do that without screwing up my aim.
@Noah Asay the graphics and aiming reticle clearly shows this to be the trilogy version, which was on the Wii, not GC.
I think I’m some battles he has the option that fixes the reticle to the middle f the screen when you are locking on

Nope. I can tell because the Metroid Prime flinches when it gets hit by a Super Missile.
