I agree with you on the Homage watch perspective… I was able to pick up 8 Homage - Pagani Design watches on Amazon October Sale (20%) off for $750 or $775 with taxes This included a homage of the Paul Newman Rolex watch. If I had bought the real watches it would have cost $380,600 assuming I could find a Paul Newman watch for $196k at auction.
@scdevon I'm going on a holiday next month for a while, and I'm taking it with me, and then I'll do a review on it when I get back. It looks like a winner.
It’s a great value for the money. I bought mine second had for $50. I know that I would never pay the market price for my grail Rolex Daytona…just ridiculous. Great review!
I really like my homage watches. Steeldive, San Martin, proxima, heimdallr. All have their little gems. Pagani is your start in to this part of the watch experience. The quality goes up from here.
Bought this watch brand new from a UK seller 2 weeks ago for £44.00. I cannot be happier with the price and the quality and so many straps fit it, mine is currently on a dark brown leather strap which really suits it. Only negatives are hands are a bit difficult to see due to no AR on crystal.
I bit the bullet and bought an original half gold daytona. Just like you, i don't feel comfortable to use it as a daily wear. So i have just ordered a pagani. most likely to use it as a daily wear and keep my original rolex for the special occasion.
Just received mine in the mail today, I got the blue bezel one and blue sun dials which I'm some light looks more purple. I'm used to wearing big watches so wearing this now looks tiny on my wrist...I'll probably use it from time to time as a dress watch. It does look awesome though! Just hope it lasts a bit? I got it for under 40, will see what happens? Have to take out a couple links. If they stepped up their game a few notches they could really put out better watches.
Honestly, the homage MoonSwatch is the one that forced me to reconsider things... So long as the homage pays homage to the original price with out being full pot clones regarding trademarks/copywrite stuff, pays homage to the watches custodian (where I feel Swatch truely failed on), I'm fine with homages.
So much of a Rolex price is in the name...period! A watch shouldn't cost that much typically unless it's in a high value metal but even then it doesn't make sense for the prices they come up with?
One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that this watch is pretty much useless as a chronograph, since the small minute dial is divided only in intervals of 5 minutes. The small second hand dial is marked the same way. The small dial on the right has similar problems (marked in 2 hour intervals) and is mainly useful for balancing the other small dials to make a pleasing dial layout. The markings on all of those dials are grey on reflective black and impossible to read without a magnifying glass. So, in summary, it's a pretty watch, but you had better have your phone or a $10 Casio along if you want to measure lap times.
HI friend! Buy the same watch and the larger second hand does not move as do 2 of the smaller indicators (left and right). The hours show normally as do the date and seconds of the smaller dial. Do you know what it could be? thanks
I bought one of these and after a month of use the bezel came off, then I tried to put it back but it's still loose.. I don't know what to do to fix it
That sucks. I havent had any issues with mine but QC is always going to be dicey with aliexpress watches. Given its affordability I'd probably just try a small amount of J-B Weld.

I have this one, a black moon watch, a white face seamaster, and root beer GMT, looking fo another few, any recommendations?
Just got mine in blue yesterday. Love it!
The fit / finish is unbelievably good on these. One of the best Paganis. I own this one. It's a great grab and go quartz watch. Seiko movement!
I just ordered one... it looks like a good daily watch.
@@chriskelly509 - You'll love it.

@@chriskelly509 - I've had mine for about three years now. These are solid watches. Enjoy!
Thanks for the awesome review. It helped so much with the purchase of this watch on Amazon

Thanks. I really appreciate it. This things are killer.

impressed so far. Their automatic datejust is killer too. Heimballr monster is tempting.
Steeldive 1965 oris is way on my radar.

Best review video I’ve seen
I have the one with the black dials, only criticism is I would like the hands to be more visible, maybe slightly larger.

Love it but the second hand stays at 12 o'clock no matter what I do

I've seen someone use dental floss to use the micro adjust.

Cronografo. Ligar.

Automatic or battery?
Combination actually, meca-quartz
Units per hour
I would rather have a quartz then a automatic unless I'm buying a big name one otherwise it's hit and miss with those cheap automatics!
Pagani uses Seiko movement in thier automatics, they are pretty good, especially at the price points.
