This was my first lego set when I was a kid. Simple but I built and re-built this set with another lego bucket hundred of times.
Lego was my favorite chilhood toy 🙂.

Me too, the older sets used to be packaged so nicely and the sets seemed special, nowadays everything is just thrown in a box
Older LEGO sets are the better ones compared to today’s sets. They were based on play features and playability. Now a days they cram and many stickers and minifigs to make it more money.
The vintage sets are my era so they are special to me, there are some wonderful sets released now though but yeh, I really hate stickers
Probably the ugliest bigger set for Castle up till that point. How is this even a manor? Big ugly rocks, almost nothing to build, holes in the structure everywhere, no stairs, horrible helicopter. The minifigs are pretty cool though.
