Many people make fun of Skipjack Tuna and Bonita. If you bleed them after they are caught, and cut the bloodline out after filleting, they are pretty darn good. I bet you can't tell the difference from Blackfin Tuna.

Hey, Clay have you had any trouble with the self stow on your Minn Kota? Great vid too, hope Stephanie is doing well.

Why do you use and electric reel and when is it best to use it. How do you know what size weight is best.
We use an electric reel whenever we are fishing in about +400ft. The weight depends on current. How much we will need to keep it on the bottom.

Electric reels are NOT fishing. Why not just stay home and send drone boats? You can cyber fish so you don't have to bother doing anything.
They should band mahi fishing for about a year let those fish get big they're so small😂
I agree.. Southern California where I grew up the deep sea fishing used to be awesome. Now it sucks...catch all these teeny little rockfish is about it
They should ban software so the hardware can catch up. You could say that about lots of things.

You know, I don't blame the kid for spitting out the raw fish. I've tried eating fish that way and there is just something about the texture that just doesn't work for me. Same for raw oysters. Fried, broiled on a half shell or in oyster stew, but raw, they become projectiles.
Same goes for Ceviche. There isn't enough lime juice to cook the fish to change the texture.
Did you recently add the LP reel? I thought you had a pair of Hooker reels?
Yeah, I've met a lot of people that have an issue with texture of anything raw. We have always had the LP. We may look into hooker electrics in the future.Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for the support on the channel. It really all depends on price point etc. There are a lot of great boats out there. I wouldn't recommend going to the Bahamas in a smaller vessel without a buddy boat etc. We love our Pathfinder Bay boat to run around the Keys and we love it.
@LifeByTheBow no problem at all thanks for the quick reply & info it means alot & as far as price point I know boats can get expensive but maybe if I can get a new used boat that would be great but I just don't know exactly where to look at new & used boats for sale in florida I would like to go somewhere official & legit so I can have peace of mind on the buy
