There are no running lights on the vintage small engine Hondas. Their production of them were erratic and inconsistent when it came to the turn signals. Consider them reflectors. The ignition switch has two positions. One is for running with head lights, one is for without head lights.
Some model c100/Honda 50 has turn signal but does not have switches. I have one that does not have switch on the controller. It has high low for light on your left controller
Up is right turn. Down is left turn. Middle is off. Headlight is always on. Don’t think it has a hi low. That’s the way my c102 is I’m pretty sure. Doesn’t run yet. Lol
This one is definitely a Hi/Lo switch. I find it interesting that Honda put signal lights on it, but no switch. Opposite of the CT70 K2, which has a switch, but no signal lights.
@@MiniBikeMike I just ran out and checked my bike. It's a c100. I have the same switch as yours on the left bar only and nothing on the right. My bike is kick start only so no start switch. I have front turn signal lights on the bars but factory rubber plugs on the rear. No rear wiring at all besides the tail light. I'll have to see if the front lights are hooked up from the factory. This bike is 100% original and was in storage for 50 years.
@@JnP-Restorations I’d love to hear what you find. Since mine doesn’t have the turn switch, I’m going to hook the lights up as additional running lights.
Hi Mike... sunday didn't pass in vain, today I learned and from what I see, a lot 💯👏👏👏
A crazy switch.
The key should have 2 position to turn on. First click is to run without headlight. 2nd click on ignition key will have the bike run with light
Looking forward to see how you modify the harness. I'm going to have to do the same to my 1967 S65 that I'm putting a Lifan on.

Hi Mike how long did it take you to put that switch back together when I did one it took me forever
It took around 20 minutes. Most of that time was looking for a spring that shot out during the first attempt. 🤣🤣
is there a link to video number3

My 63 cub 50 has winkers think it was optional

Now that I think back. My turn signal switch is in the right side I think. Lol
