Thank-you I try my best to always be honest. 🤝 Incidentally I finally bought myself one of these Mito-S pistols, earlier this year at the National Shooting Show in Harrogate, as since moving to the country we now have a garden - plinking therapy! 🥳 I also just bought a lightweight folding and adjustable 3D-printed shoulder stock for it, from www.bobpattenden.com/mitop - which should be perfect for using a red dot or scope. 🤓🎯 Thanks for watching, all the best, cheers. Russ
Good to know opinions of owners, though the one thing that disappointed me was the stock design prevented use of open sights when shouldered. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
I've wanted a PCP pistol for some time, I hope they bring this to the States soon. Seems like it is quite a versatile little platform and not bad pricing compared to it's contemporaries. Thanks for the review 👍
Thanks for watching Thomas... yep it's a lovely versatile pistol, just requiring the rearsight to be raised slightly to lift the downrange groups if using iron sights. I hope you get to try one of these soon, once Reximex find a US importer. Cheers. Russ
It's a decent pistol/carbine, my main criticism is you can't aim with the open sights with the stock attached/rifle shouldered, bit of a shame that. 😖🤷🏻♂️ Cheers. Russ
Got my 2nd pistol back!! First impressions are it's as good as few plays. In fairness the shop and suppliers have been excellent throughout. Regards Snowflake 2
Great review Russ Unfortunately I've had 2 of these pistols so far, the first wouldn't group. The 2nd has a leak and now gone back ( the first was swapped). I really like the whole idea, love the fact it comes with a stock. Only gripe would be it could do with spare capacity to store a moderator and a red dot. Regards Russ ( yes 2 of us!!!)
What, so I'm not such a unique snowflake after-all? 😲🤣🤣 They are a great improvement on my old Crosman 1322 that's for sure, though it's a shame you can't use the open sights with the stock fitted. 🤷🏻♂️ Cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 my thought is to replace my SMK precharged pistol and wobbly after market folding stock. I'll hang on till i decide on keeping the Mito. Has a lot going for it. Keep up the great reviews Regards Snowflake 2
Thanks Steve. £439(-S) & £489(-W)... but I'll have to check my notes for the weights & get back to you, as my (March issue) review won't be in the shops till Feb 9th... "The synthetic pistol measures 36cm/14.2in and weighs 934g/2lb 1oz, which grows to 61cm/24in & 1.23Kg/2lb 11.4oz with stock attached." 🤫 Cheers. Russ
Thank you, a really interesting video! Dear Sir, is it easy to change the air tank? I wander if can take two tanks to the field, avoiding the compressor. Thank you for your help.
Hi Neil, yep that's exactly why I used the red dot when the stock was fitted, the stock comb's not low enough for open sights. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
I really like this gun i'm stuck between this and the pp750, I thought it wouldn't be be alot more closer to 6tf though that's sort of put me off it tbf
I just pulled the specs from their website for this exact model and stating for .22 : 10.7ft.lbs and 515 fps. A lot different to the 5ft.lbs you mention and the 438fps you found. It doesn't appear they have made upgrades in the last two years and I know they inflate figures a bit but ..........? Looking to buy one in the near future as they are about to arrive where I am. Wasn't even considering a pistol as I am getting a Reximex Throne or Meta Plus, but looks too good to pass up.
Those specs will be for US or export versions, whereas here in the UK the legal limit for air pistols is 6ft/lbs. There are zero exceptions and even someone (like myself) with an FAC - cannot get any air pistol >6ft/lbs. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 Thanks mate. I just came back to edit my comment as I suspected this might be a UK thing based on another video I saw. especially since I am aware of the 12ft.lbs rule for rifles. I'm in Oz and pretty sure we don't have that ruling. So will be happy to get the pistol with a bit more grunt as plan on using for back yard vermin. Cheers
Just shot mine for the first time and yes it shoots low. It seems a real pity that the open sights aren't height adjustable and so you pretty much have to add a red dot whether you want to or not.
I remember the fill probe was a very tight fit, but I did fill it in the end... check the fitting size with your supplier. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Hi Barry, hmm 200bar sounds wayy OTT for a car tyre compressor, they usually work to 50PSI (3.4bar). 'IF' it's safe to work to 200bar there's no way it'll work beyond 200, but the crucial thing will be making sure all moisture is removed from the compressed air (and cannot enter the gun), so even if it's safe you'll definitely need a moisture filter. Cheers. Russ
hi russ you dont mention the size of the pistol. i had to find out elswhere. if this pistol was around 10" long with side manometer. with around 50/60 shot count it would be a superb pistol..
My apologies, I answered that question in an earlier comment below 👇, but any missing info will also be in my review article. 10m target pistols are always longer than 10", simply because that promotes stability for accurate target shooting. I happened to see another review earlier that described the shot count as 50-60, but you saw the full chrono string, so... 🤷🏻♂️ Cheers. Russ
If you wish to use open sights I'd use a slimmer moderator like a DonnyFL Tanto or Tatsu, as the Fat Boy 2.0 and even Huggett Mini Magna are slightly too big to use the foresight. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Hi there, sorry I don't think I measured that (just noted it was apparently 50cc), and I returned this pistol to BAR straight after my review. If you can't find this info I suggest you start a thread on the AirgunForums.co.uk and ask a Mito owner? Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ

I find it strange that I don't hear anyone complain about the side lever . . . . The pistol in itself is okay however, the thing you operate the most is the side lever and it's BAD. It's flimsy and the tiny screw (that has to be made of the weakest metal known by men) keeps backing out. Using locktite doesn't seem wise because this screw is so weak and tiny, you will never get it out when it needs to. The safety doesn't always work after you push it and the trigger feels "grindy". All these things can be upgraded by polishing and fine tuning but the lever . . . that's a problem where you will read about more and more (I think) Are there any upgrades/parts for this? The side lever could become a deal breaker for me and at this point I'm considering returning the pistol.
I just today got a further kick to them, when I was informed that I would now NOT be getting my Reximex Ixia this week ( as promised ), reason , the batch that arrive where sub12 guns, sounds suspect to me. Forgive me for my lack of knowledge mate but wouldn't lighter pellets and a silencer give it more velocity? It should be closer to 6tf shouldn't it? Looking at buying this not but the lack of power is kind of putting me off
