Yes. I was there between 27th Dec till 1st Jan on Ascend & descended till 3rd. You will get network coverage but on high altitude you mobile battery will drain in like 5-10 minutes

Very informative, but a query nonetheless, do teahouses provide lodging-only facility to trekkers (i.e. only nightstays, without requiring to buy any meals from them)?
I'm pure vegetarian & although the meals shown in your video look very appetizing, I'm afraid teahouses cook meat (sometimes even ham 🐷 & buffalo) as they have to cater to non-vegetarians & Western tourists too. I've got a great cooking setup & I can manage my meals myself in any case (if it's permitted on the trail)
So kindly confirm if meals are compulsory at teahouses or not (in lieu of lodging)?
Hi Ankit, no it is not mandatory at all to have a meals at the tea houses. There are endless place for you to cook your own food in the wilderness. Just a case that happens is, tea houses provided extra discount on stay price. Suppose you are having food there, they might charge you 150-200/night otherwise 300-500/night.

You can get bus starting from 6-6.30 in morning till night. Bus are available all the time. Approx. time to reach nayapul 3.30-4 hour including one stop for approx. 10-15 minutes.

I will not recommend solo, if you have not trekked before. Try joining a group or someone for this trek in pokhara. Else hire a porter cum guide - total will be Approx. 20k excluding gears.

Start from Howrah to Raxaul train(overnight) & you reach early morning around 7. From there cross the border by cart & then take a bus(if available) or else jeep to pokhara(around 8-10 hour - hectic travel).
Check-in & explore shops & finalize your porter/guide(if you are taking one) & handover your passport for the permit.
If not - then visit the permit office next day early morning & get your pass.
Relax the entire day & start trekking next day.

I am 50,Can I trek ABC,?past I trek Sandakphu ,May 2021 I will l go ABC.is it possible for me?
It completely depends on your health, I cannot comment on that. However, there is two thing I would like to say. 1) It is challenging to walk daily 6-8 hour in hot weather at the same time cool windy atmosphere. 2) I met few travelers above 50, while I was trekking. I also met a women from Japan and she was about 60 year old. I would recommend to talk to a porter or guide in pokhara, they will guide you best.

@@AJTravelVlogs Yes it was much more difficult from all angles. More over trekking equipment was not so easily available for us in normal Indian market, like they're today. So 'jugaad' was the only solution for us.
