All I want is an eink planner that will sync with my iCal or google calendar. It sounds simple but no one has done it. I could use an android app I suppose, but I want a nice clean minimalist one like you show here, but with the ability to sync to my phone for alerts and reminders.
I agree. There are a few digital planner apps that sync with calendars. Artful Agenda is one and I think Worthy Gal is another, but they look like they are more for decorative planners, rather than minimalist planners like us. I'd love to have my Google calendar entries show up in my planner. That would be perfection
Your video was more helpful than the 4+ hours of super-techy reviews I've watched. It's nice to see a more normal usecase. I'm also a planner addict and am intrigued by the idea of going digital, but I already have my perfect paper planner so I'm not sure if it's worth switching. (I need a large ereader for grad school, so using it for my planner would just be a bonus option.)
I definitely switch back and forth. I tend to buy undated paper planners now so I don’t waste money lol. But yeah there is a lot of benefit to having everything you need in one device!
can you share a link to this pdf planner? I have recently got the boox note air 2 and am really struggling with finding the right one with the hyperlinks and all that, thank you for the great videos!
This specific planner is from last year. However, the creator has new versions for this year. You can find their shop here: www.etsy.com/shop/ePaperTemplates?ref=usf_2020
I loved this video and it was everything I was looking for! I am in the same position as you with regard to buying all that planner crap. I’m so tired of it! I hope you do updates on your new e-ink planner!
Definitely! I'm already playing with my own digital planner creations for e-ink. But it'll have to be for 2022 because all that hyperlinking takes forever! :)
Hi, I've just purchased Onyx Boox Air 2. I am working with the pdf planner as you do :) Unfortunately, when I try to write using the pencil and put my hand on the screen surface the bottom menu appears from time to time. Is it possible to disable the bottom menu while browsing pdf? In normal circumstances, the menu should appear if you touch the bottom part of the screen, but I don't want it :/ Do you have the same problem with it, @The Nonsense-Free Editor?
I do and it's so frustrating. It didn't do it previously. But then I got a firmware update and it became so much more sensitive. I'm not sure who asked for that, but it's so annoying
This is cool! I haven't even gotten acclimated to the google calendar which I have been using for years haha still brought back my paper version! On the healthy habits notes: Keep it up, girl! Looking good! I've recently partnered with a health and wellness brand that has proved so many positive results! woohoo!!
Recent subscriber and going through your backlist of videos. I too have an Onyx Boox Note Air (gave my Remarkable 2 to my girlfriend - who has yet to really use it). Really enjoy your vids, topics and information. That is a tricked out planner. Question (and it may be a bit redundant): For the links to work do you have to have access to the internet all the time for them to do so or can it work without it once its been downloaded?
@@nonsensefreeeditor Nice! Last question - Is/was it a standard planner or was it customized specifically for you? If so, (and apologies if you mentioned it) what's the name of the planner? My girlfriend is ridiculously organized and like you an avid (and I daresay manic) purchaser of organizers.
@@csd8204 The one in the video is "out of the box" and I purchased it on Etsy, though since it's almost 2022, the one I bought is no longer available. That is exactly what I am looking for seems super basic but I cannot find anything either
Same

I'm looking for the same concept

Wow I had no idea about this kind of device. I'm definitely gonna get one soon. Also really cool video, I really liked the way of presentation
May I know which planner you purchased from Etsy

Can you get Apple Books on it?
Unfortunately not. It’s an Android device and Apple Books isn’t available on that platform

Not for mine. It's hyperlinked to bring you to a specific page within the PDF, so no internet required
