The team that is still in the TVA with B-15 knows about the fact that all those timelines have lives and they do follow her ideology; everyone does not stare at the monitor just feeling sad about all those pruned timelines, they feel sad almost personally because one of those timelines could be the one in which they lived happy lives. That is exactly what that scene tackles, both macro and micro nature of the multiverse. You can bring back someone from another timeline but it wont be the same, as in the experience you had with that person and the journey you had personally been on.

15:27 i have a beef with this scene.... they are trying to show that all the branches that are destroyed were all humans in different set of life that were killed, yet they failed to give that gravitas. i felt nothing.

I have a feeling that this scene will mean more after a certain future movie or something...all those branched timelines some might be the one we get to see it in the future suddenly wiped.
