Long time poolology user here. 2 questions: 1- the first 5 shots>>>If I am seeing it right. 30 position for OBs and aligning to the 20. If correct, that is slightly thinner than a 3/8 shot. 18.5 - 19 alignment would be 3/8 shot. Explain please. 2- spot shot. I can’t see the alignment value but are you going a 1/8 fraction thicker as you advise in your book(for on the spot)? I have benefited greatly from your teachings and wish you would do more videos. Yes, all 5 ob's are on 30. They are aligned near 20, a little less. Anywhere from about 18.5 to 21 works just fine at this distance from the pocket. And yes in the spot shot. The alignment is around 12 to 13, which comes up as a 3/8 shot, but since the system is a little off on the spot, aiming 1/8 thicker (as the book describes) puts the shot dead for a halfball hit.

do you look at ball overlap for aiming, or contact points? or do you mix them depending on the shot?
I use a mix of fractional overlaps, contact points and ghostball for different shots. I think we should use all the tools we have in this game.
