The sacrifices this father made to raise the money for a shelter for his son has been so heartfelt.
i’m sorry for everything you’ve been through, God really wants to let you know that He loves you so much. He sent his one and only Son down, Jesus Christ, to die for you and i while we were still living in sin. With Him you can be made new, you are covered with the Precious Blood of Jesus. Following Him is not going to be easy, cutting off sin, changing ways that you live in sin and/or cutting off friends. Not living like the world can be hard in the beginning. But it really is worth it. Please start reading the Bible and pray to receive Him im in a way that is undeniable. Because He will make Himself known to you. i say this to you in love and compassion. Jesus loves you and start to live for Him. It will be the best opportunity of your life.
Every time I watch this movie, I am reminded of all the financial stress my parents had to go through while raising me. Even though I rarely got to see them due to work, I felt compelled to be the best student in school in order for me to take care of them in the future. I am forever grateful, thank you!
did you make it, I hope so
@@jordanmntungwa3311 Whether she make it or not, the fact that she thought of the helping idea is good enough to be accepted in Heaven. I hope you can make it too, i doubt it.
Hope you told them....
Tellin the UA-cam community really doesn't make much sense as 99.9% of the viewers don't give a flip. Guess lot of folks just need to share....
Personally proud of you that at such a young age you could set a goal so serious. At that age, with parents that totally ignored me, well until time to whip me like a mining mule for an imagined infraction, my last thot would be to attain greatness so I could take care of them. They are 90 and 80 something in 2024 and haven't seen them in months. They don't remember the "bad" years. Have two sisters that want everything they have taking care of them.
So how does this all sound to you? Useless, right?
Sorry. Bad day. Hope your life was better and that you achieved great success. Compared to my beginnings I'm a frigging billionaire. I've given back ten times what I recieved....ten times nothing except showing up when the sisters were too busy and no reward in it for them.
Life's a hoot sometimes.
🙏
I'm also motivated by this
No one could play the father and son better than the real father and son
My dad took my brother and I to see this movie when we were kids. Honestly, this was one of the greatest movies Will has ever done.
As a single dad in my 30s who has struggled with son much with my son this hits different now thanks for reminding me I'm a good dad you forget that sometimes
I wish I could help you put
He’ll remember you for the rest of your life not for what you’ve given him but the effort you put in to be there for him 💪🏾
Haha single father of a 3 year old here, I often watch this movie for strength at times. My situation is nowhere near as rough as this, so I’m blessed. God bless all the single fathers out here making it work for our kids ❤

I saw this movie. Made me cry. All the struggles he had.. everything😢😢and he survived.. this shows that no matter how down you are.. no matter how many failures you encountered. Its always YOU who will make a decision for yourself. Whether to pursue or just be in a situation where you are. 6 months internship with no pay.
What the actual fuck?
its not that out of the norm for any reputable business. my apprenticeship for body piercing was 2 years unpaid which ended up being more like a year and a half unpaid as i progressed faster than most do. gotta pay your dues to make the good money! i would tell anyone on the planet if you have a love for your field then it would be worth it every time!
It's not all about money. I did internship at low rate and learned all the stuff and today big companies want me
@emranhossain7381 This is a stupid saying. Life runs on money. It is about the money. If that job paid nothing (including no future opportunities after the internship), would you ever have done it?
@@Aaron_GuestThe idea is that even if the job paid nothing after... What was learned would be worth the time and make the person more money over their life.
Wagie wagie...
nevermind he does it for FREE!
Motels are freaking expensive. I lived in an “extended stay hotel” (it was a motel) and it cost $1k a WEEK and that was 10 years ago!! It was one room and a bathroom. And I don’t mean one bedroom, I mean you walk in the front door from the parking lot and it’s just a room with a bed and tv, “full size” fridge, one stove top burner and a sink and then a bathroom. $1m A WEEK!!!
Housekeeping came once a week to empty trash, sweep and mop half ass and change the bedding (only what looked dirty. And it was crazy how many families stayed there who just weren’t approved for a lease on an actual house or apartment due to their credit
What hotel charges 1m for a week 😂
@@mr.anonymous123 Cut him a break , was a typo. He said 1k, before ... and even that seems like extortion.

What an awesome true life story
I have watched this movie about a 100 times
Your breakdown was superb
Great lesson. Same today.
Really well narrated.
Best quality explanation🎉
Thanks a lot 😊
I saw this movie, but I didn't realize how hard of a time this person had, while trying to get a job. I don't understand why the wife left, who is not being abused. I understand that she also wasn't able to find work, so went where she could. It would have been a blessing for them to stay together, but we don't really get to see what the real problems were. Now, I have never seen anyone who deserves to be rich. I've had hard times, but God has blessed my hard times to include a place to stay. Prayers. No-one in this country should be homeless. I've seen the homeless refuse an apartment. They need mental care.
Each time is a new lesson and I can't hold back my tears
I love this story line very much interesting
Dam that 1 guy didnt even realize that he was about to get the taste buds slapped out of him for mispelling happiness 🤣

The lever... It has been added usually at top of steps and pushing down on it will open the door from the lever so it is not necessary to walk to the door to open it for guests!❤
I miss using it and my cousins and I would race to the lever just to have a excuse to use it when we were children!!!
❤It was fun!!!❤
why tf is this video so damn smooth and nobody talking about why this vid so smooth.
Hey! I can tell you why the video looks like that.
It looks smooth, or rather fluid, because the Video contains a lot of images per second. Regular videos & movies are at 30 frames (images) per second. But this has 60, which means that motion looks less stuttery. Its possible to record in high fps, but its also possible to edit a video to increase fps.
When using the editing approach, a software is used that generates additional frames based on the original video. This means that the generated frames arent actually real, they are just a mix of 2 real frames. I hope this comment made sense, i tried to make it understandable. If not, then i recommend you look into the topic of fps / frames per second.
It's on my favourite list of movies.
movie name??
This movie hits hard. Having been in dire financial situations, not quite like these, but damn, when you have to turn a penny many times, it's not the most pleasant feeling. Luckily, hard times go away eventually and you appreciate even the amallest bits more than the average person...
I'm going thru similar shit. And I hope someday, I will eventually meet up with the happiness I seek. Amen.
This movie always gets me tearing
Lever, turn on heat

I like when Will portrays real people. He was also in Six Degrees of Separation which was about a real person, sort of😘 That said, I love a good Sci Fi like Men in Black too. This was a great movie and the real Christopher Garner has some great interviews out there too.
The lever is for opening the front door
this shit right here made me tear a few times throughout the movie. it was so good.
I'm not a fan of Will Smith's acting but this looks like one hell of a movie.
It's easy to leave in this world we have to work hard and give afford..this movie is the perfect example..
