Definitely like the how to video. Really need to see the motor build how to for sure. Not sure if you remember I told you had a motor at a machine shop that had it for 6 months. Well I finally got it back and it’s a disaster I didn’t get any of the parts I wanted motor is in pieces and I paid way more than I should have. As far as the opening up your shop I wish you the best of luck honesty means a lot and I wish I was closer to you I sure could use some help. Good luck with whatever you decide
Yeah man I remember you mentioned it before! That sucks that you had a bad experience with a machine shop.. I’m definitely gonna be finishing the how to series on my big block build, as soon as my bank account stops crying lol. If you can bring it here I’d be happy to build it for you! Thanks, I appreciate the support on the shop, I’ve been here before, but hopefully this time I can get some momentum and start building cars full time!
Man, i look forward to the new truck engine and suspension upgrades. The firebird is cool and I still need to check out the how to videos. This is one of my favorite channels. I lived north of Gulfport for 3 years and during that 3 years, I met some of the best old school gear heads. It's just good to see that Mississippi still knows how to have fun on a budget.
Thanks! That means so much to me! I really enjoy being able to put good content out there for folks, and I’m always trying to do better…. And you’re right, we do know how to ball on a budget down here! Hahaha. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I actually had the money to big spend on a project… I think it would take some of the fun out of it.
I appreciate that! I’m happy that folks enjoy the low budget builds! I enjoy them and appreciate someone that can build a great ride on a budget! Now, some customer builds may get a little high dollar, but that’s just more fun to enjoy!
Awesome! Thanks for all the support! Unfortunately I’m probably not coming this year, but next year I’m gonna do everything I can to be there! Hopefully the c10 will be ready by then! If i can get some work coming through this shop, I’ll definitely have the c10 done, so I’m excited about that for sure!
I look fwd to your videos. I wish I could do side work out of my garage or even have enough spare time to put into my hot rods . I’m a truck driver so time is limited 😂
I drive a truck locally! I remember the days being over the road… hard days and not much time for hotrods! I hope you enjoy what I’m working on now, it’s gonna be fun! 😎🚜💨
Glad your keeping a bigblock in your truck. I was gonna unsubscribe if ya swapped a LS into it. Too many channels pushing that shit already and I'm just not into it. I avoid trends. Currently building a 496 for my C-10, seems to be the way to go. Shits expensive tho. I'm wanting to run 9s in my old beater. Low 6s in the 8th. Good ole NA Rat can make it happen.
lol no don’t leave!!!! That ole ratty muscle truck is gonna keep a big block! I do like the LS style engines. They are basically the modern day small block Chevy. Compact, stout, easy to deal with. I will be building LS engines for other projects, but I can’t give up on big blocks. They are too fun to not use! Can’t wait to see your truck run! Sounds like it will be a beast!
@@AllieCatCustoms I built a few LS engines when they first got popular, but the cost didn't justify the power, so I'm stuck on old school I guess. Hard to beat a bigblock Chevy with anything else. Built a NA 6.0 liter years ago, cost $10,000 dollars to make 580hp. Same money in a bigblock would make 800hp. Never was a fan of using stock junkyard engines, so I'd build them like I would anything. Shits expensive. I like big NA power for simplicity. I am building a twin turbo bigblock tho. Might be finished one of these years. My 496 gonna run a single 1150 Dominator or 2 850s on a tunnelram. Might try both since I already have the shit.

Anytime you post no matter what it is I’m watching. It’s real life low budget more normal everyday people stuff with the Allie cat!!!

@@AllieCatCustoms right on man , I always look fwd to your videos .
looked like a mouse run from under the truck at the 5 min mark from left to right.
Ha, probably running off with what’s left of the stock wiring from that dang truck 🤦🏻♂️😂😂
