Northstar Canoes: Opal and Boreas First Look

New ’24 Northstar Canoes
Northstar Canoes adds two tandem canoes to their line-up this spring and introduced them at the consumer show in Madison WI. I’m really excite for both of these.

The Opal will be a quick-to-the-water shorter tandem that will double as a great solo option for those looking for a bit more stability or space for their dog/gear.
The Boreas will be a quick favorite for Northstar fans as it offers the high shouldered tumblehome in a bigger tandem. At 17’9”, this can be considered a bigger brother to the Polaris with a bit more width (36”) for hauling and stability. I think this will be my new favorite Western family canoe from Northstar!
