Even though he’s so clearly uncomfortable he’s still so respectable and sweet and I couldn’t stop smiling at him. That reporter was awful, he was SO clearly uncomfortable and didn’t want to talk about Lilly and even after his mum swerved the question for him, she brought her back up, and asking him to turn around on camera? Just no- and then doing the same to his mum but touching her so she doesn’t really have a choice? Yikes.

Timothée was very clear of his negative stance on drugs while doing promo for Beautiful Boy, so I hope he never falls into that side of the industry like so many do, other than that it’s just about being entitled and rude I guess, but I really can’t imagine Timothée ever being that way when he grew up as a ‘fanboy’

I have never posted a negative comment on youtube. I am not a critical person, but this was incredibly disrespectful, rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional! I think I have seen this reporter be inappropriate with at least one other actor. I think she thinks she's being cute, playful, funny, flirtatious, etc. but I found this extremely off-putting. She is not there to make anyone uncomfortable. There are SO MANY more relevant topics she could have raised. In addition to asking Timothee about his outfit, she could have congratulated him on his nomination; she could have complimented his work; or she could have asked him about his upcoming projects--instead she chose to ask him about something personal. Also, she referred to him as a boy--I don't think she would have taken such liberties with an older actor. This line of questioning was disappointing; please be more considerate, respectful, and professional in the future. And take a moment... to consider how you might be making the other person feel.
I agree. She was treating him like a piece of meat. He didn't want to turn around to have his outfit and body gawked at, she should've registered the social cue and moved on. Terrible.

Now, almost everyone who knows a little about him knows that he cares about his privacy, but he's on the pubblico scene so it's normal that someone asks him about his private life, and I agree with this even if I think that if you interview someone you should know what can make him uncofortable. But, again, he's a public figure so it's normal he's been asked that kind of questions. BUT once she saw he was embarrassed, and his mum too, she should've stop. That's what's I'm saying.

I don't know, it just seems pretty unprofessional on her part and also an invasion of privacy. A lot of interviewers talk about an actors upcoming projects - especially at golden globes! Maybe its the norm to ask those personal questions, but to me it just seems like an invasion. Plus the night is about Timmy! Sally Vee doesn’t matter whether you’re a celebrity or not you deserve respect in your private life so many other questions could have been asked during this interview. People deserve to be treated with respect and get the privacy they want when they need it. This is why so many celebrities keep things such as pregnancies and relationships secret sometimes because not every celebrity wants to be followed by paparazzi every single second

snjmriguy1 it's called PR. I've done a project on it. Majority of actors are made to be in a fake relationship for publicity at some point. His management creates these relationships and he has to go along with them. It doesn't give interviewers the right to make him clearly uncomfortable. I've seen this woman do interviews before, she has no sense of boundaries.
