For Minecraft, you should go into jungles to test the performance. Jungles are probably the most intensive biomes to run.

"Bad" is relative. I think iGPUs are a useful feature in general, like a spare tire.
@Float Samples Just because you don't have to pay extra doesn't mean it's free. It's cheaper, more cost effective, but not free.
You gotta think that Intel QuickSync is the best video encoder for performance.
My laptop has HD 4000 graphics and I haven't replaced it after 6-7 years of use because it gets the job done and plays a fair amount of games. Great video, you've pointed out a couple more games I can add to what I've got installed. I had no idea Far Cry 3 would run that well on it.
Just keep in mind that you might loose around 20% of performance compared to the video.
Laptop CPU's used to be much slower than desktop equivalent.

Intel's graphics have never been bad for their size, will be interesting to see how it will be when they actually bring dedicated options next year.
dedicated option?
@@mladendenni7062 intel is doing an actual card not just integrated
@@gamerkangaroo1513 wtf
@@mladendenni7062 I know right. They're finally catching up the competition 😃 And if your comment was actually confusion (not surprised), then what they mean about a dedicated option is that there will be a separate card called the graphics processing unit (GPU) that draws its own video random access memory (VRAM), for applications involving higher graphics-related data and instructions, instead of sharing the system VRAM from the central processing unit (CPU). Basically, every computer needs the CPU to even function at all so how fast any application on your computer runs is dependent on your CPU, so if you have your GPU integrated then it also pulls the VRAM from the CPU ultimately providing less frames per second (FPS) for your game; which if you're a true gamer, you know that's a game changer for the worst 😒
Winning a death match on valorant with Intel HD 4000 convinced me 😂 keep up the great work
The massive stutter issue in CS GO only occurs in modes like Arms Race and Deathmatch (intensive maps with alot of people respawning), i have tried competetive mode and it runs really well.
also due to him using the 6 year old drivers that Windows 10 installs automatically, the 2020 drivers from intel have much better performance
Been using this card but with an i3 instead for 7 years. I decided to spare $600 and bought a used PC from a friend that has a 2070 and i7. Best decision I've ever made. I love this build.
Bro you are grinding hard keep it up🔥🔥👍
I have never been let down by the HD4000 graphics in my HP 2000. Even though it seriously underperformed in any games, the gpu was somehow still (barely) usable in editing and modelling software. Granted, I upgraded to 16GB of DDR3-1600 in dual channel which seriously improved the experience, but I felt like the iGPU was very balanced with the dual core i5 I was running.
Keep up the good work you do an amazing job
Kryzzp you should keep a check on valorant patch notes from now on as the devs break is finished, that's why the optimization is horrible, I want to see what kinda fps is possible after that

was waiting for this video , awesome one .
Good video. I remember being surprised that I could play Batman: Arkham Asylum on Intel HD 4600 Graphics (i7 4790). The game got 35fps on 720 low.
I plan on upgrading to this same processor (or the i7 4770k or i5 4440) from a bad 2012 dual core amd apu and i will have to play with the integrated graphics until i can afford a graphics card, so I'm glad you made a video showing what it can do! 😄

Thanks! I might, just gonna grab some DDR3 RAM to pair with my i5 4460 PC, I want 16gb there but the mobo only has 2 slots and I don't have 8gb sticks!
I were using that igpu a year ago on my old rusty desktop with some creepy i5 cpu, It was nice to use and yes we can absolutely do light gaming on that thing flawlessly, it is still a very good option for low budget gamers who can't afford high end machine.
Love your stuff, sooooooooooo much! Your videos and personality always bring me laughs and joy
this is my kind of content. i love pushing iGPUs to the limit. thanks mate. i love it.
Intel HD 4400 is when Intel HD Graphics started getting respectable. Intel HD 2000 is the infamous bad one I'd say. Just imagine how horrible the integrated graphics of the Core 2 Duo era were. I remember seeing a RandomGaminginHD video on the Dell Optiplex 755 (from that era) where adding a GeForce 210 gave 4x-5x more fps in GTA: Vice City than the iGPU!
I remember having a pentium 4 with motherboard gma graphics😂
another banger, ur awesome bro!
I tested Intel HD 4400 (with i3-4030u cpu). With 8gb ram this card was capable of handling Infinite Warfare and Hitman from 2016. I even managed to play Hitman 2 but the fps count was around 16-18
I've been pushing my poor old hd4000 to it's absolute limits.
I actually had to scale down what I was doing with it for fear of damaging it.
Also it's in a laptop so I'm stuck with it for now
Yes pushing to limit damage computer...so better try to avoid it...i know many computers damaged by pushing limits
"Its actually sad to see the performance of franchises these days" 7:24 Damn that hit hard. And also looks at Intel
It's like know what's going on in my life... Just fixed up a laptop I had sitting around with a gen 3 i7 mobile chip in it that has Intel HD 4000 graphics.

I have also i7 3770 with 4000hd graphic it's playable in 800p with shadows. I think it's nice for low end pc build but I love your videos
Hello Kryzzp, Valheim just released an update and it includes some graphical optimizations. Could you do an update for the low end GPUs and see how it fares? Some of my cards had a huge increase in FPS for that game and I'm pretty sure that it's going to be worth looking at.
Thanks for letting me know, I'll test a few GPUs :)
The previous gen (i7-2700k) had better graphics
You bare so much pain for us. Hats Off
For dota2 turning on FidielityFX (also turning on AA) and setting your render quality to like 80~70% it should hit you upto 60~90fps on 720p low
I’ve always thought it was strange that intel only recently started offering F versions of its’ K sku cpus (no igpu). Seems nice to have as a backup, but it seems like most people who pay extra for an overclockable cpu will have a discreet gpu to pair it with lol
I dont like using hd 4000 but when my nvidia gt 635m decides to go into driver fails i am dependent on this so yeah they are lifesavers some times
Hey! Thanks for answering my question in the previous video, I have another one if you don't mind! I get 80-60 fps in vanguard with a 1050(lowest settings, fps counter on, and 150 fov)but my laptop tends to overheat, at about 85-90°, is this normal?
those temps are a bit too high, I'd replace the thermal paste, clean the laptop from dust and buy a cooling pad, that'll help a lot :)
@@zWORMzGaming turned on the cpu counter and in vanguard and got a cooling pad(already had one, just thought it didn't help much so didn't use it xD) and it's stuck at 75° now, Is that better? Thanks for helping again.

After watching this video, I feel like my Intel 946GZ is still not old!
For i7 3770 or xeon e3-1245 v2 better 1070/1660super video cards or even 2060, then wick 970/470/570 cards.
My first experience with Intel HD “4000” was a Windows 8.1 $99 tablet with a quad core Atom and 2 GB of ram.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY!
The Pentium 4 laptop that powered most of my kid PC gaming experience until now seemed almost disgraceful when the last second Christmas present my uncle bought absolutely decimated everything I could throw at it (Halo CE, CoD 4/WaW, GTA 4 etc) at least in comparison to the 512mb mobile P4 set up I was used too.
Anyway I never realized it wasn’t the full Intel HD 4000 till I had long since moved on gaming to a real gaming PC but I’ll always have a soft spot for the chip and this video was a great help with a recently free secondhand laptop I was given!

Lol my main gaming rig is basically this paired with a 2070s. I had a 3080 but the 3770k was too much of a bottleneck when enabling ray tracing in a lot of games. Apparently ray tracing increases CPU load quite a bit, something rarely discussed or brought up. Can't really complain about getting 10 years out of a gaming PC though that still powers through most AAA games... Has to be some sort of record

Definitely better than my Intel HD 2500(i5-3570) is the ram that is bothering me? I get 20-25fps with shadows on 800x600 but stutters a lot. I think 8GB isn't enough for GTA V with iGPU

My DELL Latitude E6430 has the Intel HD Graphics 4000. It's did not do Crysis justice because it has horrible framerate at high settings. I can use the Latitude E6430 for my MS-DOS CD-ROM games I play on DOSBox (except for Extreme Assault because I rather play that with the 3DFX Voodoo, which I don't have) and for DVD viewing, but not for Crysis on PC DVD-ROM.

Can you test the new Amd integrated? Or is there already a video online?
Very interesting to see a mix of games that run wel. It looks like any game from 2012 or older would run well. Also interesting is a very low cpu utilisation.. just shows how well the 10 years old intel i7 does. I bet that it would still be well match to current low end gpus like 1050ti or even 1060s. Anything from 2060 would probably bottleneck it. For that you would need 4th gen i7.
