So it’s interesting that you brought up the theory that Calypso had taken over the body to clip Stone from across the way. Even as a kid, I had thought the same thing myself. Calypso knew that Stone was going to pay the ultimate price in the end again, but gave Stone his final wish before closing him out. Really brutal, but it kinda gave me vibes of the first two TM game endings where everything wasn’t as it seemed.
Plus when you take into account the Lost bio (even though it's considered non-canon), it's possible Calypso threw him in a time loop where he's able to "Fix" his mistake. But since the world wasn't meant to go like that, it has to come to an end only to find himself back in the same spot. So Stone gets his wish, but doesn't fully understand at the time the implications of what he's asking for. To which I like to think Stone looses it again, which breaks him free of the time loop he finds himself in, and is able to compete in Lost. TBH if Lost (or what would become Harbor City) did carry the idea that stone somehow freed himself and is competing once again. Then I think he would use his later's name sake "wish" of ending twisted metal. Accepting the fact he can't fix the past, but could hopefully do some good for the future.

Being above average at Black is nothing to sneeze at. Also, Doll is one of the best players of this game and not being as good as them is nothing to be ashamed of. Yeah, Outlaw being a straight up armored truck which is just A BOX, I don't mind it. Outlaw 2 being an highway interceptor is neat and does get style points and I don't hate it either. And now a days that police are mainly using SUV's, the TM 2012 version is very apt, more so then the first two outlaws.

Hey!!! I learned a VERY helpful way of beating Minion! I’m gonna try to explain it. Can’t remember what streamer does this but you gather some weapons: megaguns and stuff. Stuff yourself into one of those little closed entrances of the stadium, let him come to you, the second he gets into view and rams you, turn on your shield, stay still and he’ll flip out and jump around. Its a small space so he flops around like a fish. This is the BEST chance to get the shield down, unload while your shield holds, turbo out of there when your shield dies. Rinse and repeat as needed. I hope this makes sense.
In my mind, I hold the beta versions of stories like Outlaw's and Dollface's as canon moreso than the release versions. Re-adding the context to their stories that got cut out perhaps for being too controversial/sensitive for the 2001 times makes their stories make that much more sense. Like Outlaw losing his cool against white supremacists and Dollface being assaulted by her father make a lot more logical sense than just "Oh sometimes criminals are bad and get away" and "this lady's boss maimed and disfigured his employee with no consequence". Keep up the good work with these chill playthroughs, Drew!
Another one of those menu models that are completely different from the in-game, at least with Billy Ray, I can see him being related to Willy Tray, Agent Stone, and Agent Waters don't even look like the same race
When I was young playing this character it took me way too long to find out that you could do extra attacks while doing the special, I always thought it was just a auto turret, I don't remember when I found out or how but I was probably in my late teens and by that point we was already in the late stages of the 360/PS3 era, I always did like Cop Cars so Outlaw was always a draw in for me.

While I didn't know about the Crazy 8 was meant to be Outlaw, I could maybe see it work, even with Frank. Sort of like Robocop, except just a messed up face. But ultimately I think what would have been Warthog becoming Outlaw and then "White Knight" into Warthog is the best turn out. Crazy 8 definitely turned out like a good character. I COULD see Outlaw turning into Warthog, but I think he'd be a retread of TM1 roadkill's lost ending (which wouldn't be the worst but at the same time, doubt it'd be as good as Stone). And White Knight, even existing as a "what could have been" don't think it would have turned out as well as it probably would have been his current story, but with no real connection to the previous games. And if his story was actually meant to be like current Outlaw (someone wanting to right a wrong they did would fit the name White Knight) and Warthog wanting to become the best killer as a military man could have worked. But again, that's pure speculation but doubtless would have been worse.
Don't feel so bad about missing the barrels on Prison, even on stream I missed so many times let alone the good 10+ runs Ive done solo teying to get it down lol. As for your own skillset don't sell yourself short. You have a lot more fundamentals down than most and you starting off your speedrunning at around 35-30 minutes is insane. It takes time but it you set your mind to it and get used to the small.micromanagements you can without a doubt become an amazing player. I can promise you there is nothing average when you play TM:B. All skill.
Might as well give my two cents, since I'm enjoying these videos. I do think the modelers, and the writers, don't really know guns that well. But I think there's accidental accuracy with Stone's rifle (from what little I can make out of it). While modeled more akin to bolt rifles, the one used by stone has no bolt. And also fails to launch the casings. And while I'd need to spend time to count the shots, I do think the Russain made Dragonuv rifle would be accurate enough for the time. Or even the PSG-1 from H&K with the right magazine size. For the Doomsday Terrorist landing a 9mm, across the street at minimum, with a pistol, bleeding out from a rifle round, and landing a killing blow headshot through a helmet like Stone's? No reasonable and possible way without fate interfering. Any hit would more likely bounce or stop on the helmet and just be a solid punch to the forehead. That end part feels more like rushed writing, but I think it makes a compelling tradeoff of Stone's wish. Saving others, at the cost of your own life. And I think the best ammendment without much change is he missed one guy with a rifle (assault or not) who counter-snipes him. Only to be taken in alive by Stone's SWAT team. Sorry for the long comment, but I wanna give details! How the details were almost perfect for Stone's story.

Outlaw is best vehicle in this game besides Minion. Outlaw has no weakness and the blue missiles with the special can destroy anyone.

The beta versions of a lot of character stories are better than the final ones in Twisted Metal Black.
