i think it depends of what type of guitar you're using and the tuning drop, idrk tho i just sdtarted playing guitar and have no clue haha

Things to noted : baretone wont even come close to the SOAD TONE
The best closest sound i can get for drop tuning for this particular song was a plugin in Reaper with some effects that i Copied from a youtube video ( but to perform it live you definitely need some kinda processor )

@@HenriqueLuzorio at the time when i wanted to play SOAD , i was new to the guitar so i didn't had many options , so i searched the UA-cam and found a video which actually gives the same tone. I followed those procedures only , and i found it quite amusing that it almost replicates the tone via that method 🫠

A tad late but the way Ive been doing it is js the d dudu d dudu d du (ds being down and us being up) with more of a sloppy grunge type feel to the strums, also fast
