Like, I didn't even know Blue-Eyes was meta or overused when I picked it up. I just think Dragons are neat. I use Dragons in every game I play whenever possible, not just Yu-Gi-Oh!. And Blue-Eyes' lore from the manga's final arc made me like it more. I just use what I think is neat, and the community shames me for it. Damn, let a casual boi have his fun.

have you guys not seen blue eyes vs gaia, if it literally cant do anything, no matter how bad of a first hand i get i can still win on the second phase even if you have alternate or spirit dragon on the field and some face downs, gaias field spell disables all spell and trap cards and i can send any card to the graveyard with my boss fusion monster, alternative doesnt work against gaia because as soon as alternate comes out it gets destroyed before you can activate its effect. explain to me in any world where a good gaia can lose to a good blue eyes
