    It's a moving film, and it's so clear that in any religion, graceful people can show their real faith in the most compassive and touching ways.

    Russian- have you ever been to Israel? I live with these types of people. This is VERY true to life. They really speak, act, and think this way.

    Consider me Jewish how beautiful the spirit of the believers and still cool to their old friends "the one with the cornrows" was my favourite.

    She says "Tatte" (yiddish) - which means Aba in hebrew - which means father - but in this case referring to G-d (who is considered a father)

    I recall seeing a very in-depth documentary on the Torah and they applied this code that was discovered in 1994 by a Jewish Think Tank. If someone happens to read this comment and knows the Hebrew Language please comment if it is valid.
    ~Torah~
    First 2 books count 5+2 and circle
    Last 2 books count 7-2 and circle
    Middle book count 7 and circle
    Each Hebrew character circled, totalling thousands will spell Torah, the Middle Book over and over and over.......

    Police don't go into areas like that in Israel, especially during a Chag, so they wouldn't have to worry about getting caught.

    @juba176 Second, I know that my words are in vein because nothing I can say will make you understand how much damage you cause with your hatred and ignorance. One thing I have learned is that people who want to hate, don't need a reason. They just hate. Good luck with the rest of life. You gonna need it with that attitude.

  • @DuchessMari
    @DuchessMari 14 років тому

    @juba176 First, this is a movie. Meaning it is a story! Doesn't have to be a true story, even though it can be based upon actual facts. The people you see in the movie are ACTORS. Yes, I know these are real "Haredi" Jews, still they ACT a certain role. Just like any other movie, it is made to present, explain. revel, a view point, an opinion, a belief, or just to tell a story (you know, like one you read in books).

  • @yonimiller
    @yonimiller 15 років тому

    It wasen't a perfect movie by any means, but it had some very strong EMOTINOAL parts, which were very human and well acted in my opinion. I agree the comedy parts were much weaker.

    Suffocating roles?
    The actor is a Breslov Hasid himself, so I can't see how you don't believe he does a good portrayal.
