I am so jealous when I see couples working together to build cool Halloween props and decorations. I love Halloween. But my husband couldn't care less........ Thank you so much for sharing your creative ideas!
We have known Derek for many years, if you think that's funny check out this old footage around the 9 min. in when VanOaks was sporting some Hollywood Haunter columns 😉 ua-cam.com/video/LPpPpgm-KLQ/v-deo.html
Love what you guys are doing. I have been wanting to build a haunted cemetery for a long time now. I thought I was going to be able to do it one time when I lived just up the road from you guys in Victorville CA. But that was a long time ago and my work moved me AGAIN! Sigh, one day I hope I can do it. Thanks again for posting your videos. At least I can live vicariously through you guys!
I always loved ur tombstone videos. So nice to have em all together in one director's cut. I love that your doing this with your old videos. Would love to see more videos like this.
Thank you so much for sharing this. Love all your videos. This makes all the difference for our family haunted yard next week. You guys are totally awesome!
Great tips on how to secure “tombstones” to the ground. It gets to be costly supplying the neighborhood with my tombstones after a “wind storm” every year.
Regarding the solar light stakes, you can buy replacement stakes and pole extensions without buying the solar light. The extensions are long, but can be cut to fit your prop.
Those tombstones are made out of expanded polystyrene foam btw. What are you using to seal them? They're uv sensitive and will break down under sunlight in a couple months.
I like the content but the thing that stool out out the most was the weird camera stabilization at 26:20. For us Northerners, waterproofing is imperative because the freeze-thaw cycles will rip some materials apart.
Wow, you both are so creative, love your work those tombstones are amazing . I’m really looking forward to Halloween this year. Thank you so much for sharing from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇸 🎃💀🧟♀️☠️🧙♀️🤡🎃
Wow. Blast from the past! Lol! I remember when you did these videos 😂 also, plywood is double the price now haha. I'm so mad about it. Thankfully my local lumberyard gives me a business discount, but it's still way more expensive than it was 1.5-2 years ago 😭
Hey that's a nice hook up don't want to lose that friend. Its also getting a little harder to come across those sweet free wood finds we used to see. Guess we should all start making our props from amazon boxes now there's plenty of those around. Thanks for chiming in.
I want to make a frame that I can add different fabric facades to, depending on what I need it for. I want to use fabric (canvas) for easy storage. I was wondering how flexible is the flex bond thinset is for the stone looking facade I want to make?
Thanks so much you guys for making these videos, I love your channel for inspiration. 🎃 Question : Securing Styrofoam Tombstones in an artificial lawn (Because of California's drought)... I'm worried about stabbing in rebar or spikes into the lawn because I'll be disturbing the weed block and I don't want weeds coming through later. The lawn is at a slight but noticeable angle so I think if I had sufficient weight it would probably not tip over, we do get occasional wind at my location... I picked up some ideas from the video: wood bases, idea of putting rocks inside of them... Any other ideas for this particular situation? and... Happy Halloween🎃👻💀🦇
Ya I wouldnt want to go pounding rebar through my nice turf either. Some kind of base to weigh down would work well for that I'd think. I'll try think more on that one. Thanks Ray we appreciate the input.

Its kind of nice to put some of this stuff together in an organized way. That way they don't have to sit through hours of Jeana talking so much 🤣

You guys ROCK!
I love having all of these ideas in 1 video! My goal this year is to build more tombstones for next year, so this is great timing, too!
We are so glad!
Just found you recently. What neighborhood or group should I look for to come down and see all these great houses you tour in other videos?

We just use paint, cement mortar, or epoxy resins and they have hung in there pretty well over the years.

Thank you Susie we appreciate that very much. Hope you have a wonderful Halloween season.
10:59 Always awesome tips!
Sometimes they want you to buy a small pallet of a few diffrent damaged bags of misc. items now but it can still be worth it.
For my headstones on the back I use the yellow tent Stakes from Walmart and gorilla glue they hold pretty good
Hey that's great thanks for another idea Josh 👍👊😁

How do you add the plexiglass to the dremel?

I'd bet you would get some cracking on a material like that but I'm sure you could get it to stick ok especially with paint on top of it.
