CHIKHAL KALO-Mud Festival of Goa

We have seen various temples dedicated to different gods and goddess but this is the only temple dedicated to Krishna and his mother Devki that's why the name Devki krishna temple.This was earlier at chorao island around 400 years ago. Marcel has around 33 temples. What sets Devkikrishna apart are various festivals like jatra, gopal kalo, malini poornima and chikhal kalo.
