    This is the most relaxing video I've ever found on UA-cam. You have a wonderfully gentle voice, and I love listening to you sharing your heartfelt thoughts.

    I loved listening to Helping/helped story very much.It doesn't matter how much money we have in the bank as it does not mean we are materialistic or greedy.It is only materialistic and greedy if we hurt people along the way to come by that money.It is only materialistic if you choose to keep on buying buying buying and are never satisfied with what you have.If we are truly spiritual then we understand what life really means and are striving to be a better person from within and understand what it means to help and support someone if they need our help.We all need to work to earn a living to eat, pay bills , pay our rent and council tax and to clothe ourselves.These are basic needs not greed.Some people have the money to pay for those things and some people do not.We personally cannot be responsible for every human on this planet who by choice or not do not work.I certainly wouldn't apologise for travelling to different places and learning new cultures with the money I work for.I would however pick a human being up from the side of the road and feed him and give him shelter for the night.We are responsible for OUR OWN behaviour towards others and respect, compassion and kindness has nothing to do with earning our money by doing an honest days work.

    Beautiful and so true. I do volunteer work with the elderly and when they thank me for my work, I tell them they help me more than I help them and that I will continue to work harder to repay them for their company and their way of cheering up my days.

You sincerely welcome us all into a part of your life and home like a friend. I forgot (at my age that happens sometimes) how I came to know of your site, but I am thankful and blessed that it happened.

    Thank you for another beautiful life lesson, Haiying ~ The last line of this quote says it all.
    "A bell's not a bell 'til you ring it.
    A song's not a song 'til you sing it.
    Love in your heart wasn't put there to stay.
    Love isn't love 'til you give it away!”
    --------Oscar Hammerstein quote given to Mary Martin before "The Sound of Music" began its run on Broadway. "The simple definition of love that he had scrawled on a piece of paper would impact Mary Martin for the rest of her life."

    I JUST HAD AN IDEA. YOU CAN COLLECT THESE sketches in one book, maybe add some words or famous Chinese quotes in Chinese to some sketches and sell them as an adult coloring book on your online shop or you can sell the sketches individually as a coloring sketch instead of putting them in one book if that would be easier for you

    I hope that one day you will find the peace of knowing that we don’t have to keep striving to be good enough in order to get “good luck” and worrying that if we mess up we will have “bad luck”. Jesus has already paid the price for our sins (past and future) and all we have to do is receive his forgiveness every time we realize we have done something wrong. We can never be good enough on our own, we will always make mistakes; but, just like we still want to give good gifts to our children even when they mess up, God still wants to bless his children who are all sinners. We should want to do good in order to extend this love and grace to others, not to earn good luck for ourselves or out of fear of getting bad luck. Love your videos; but, praying that you will find this pure joy one day.

    好喜欢您的生活方式和态度!请问您是中文老师吗?非常想向您学习学习!您从小练习书法和国画还是自学成才?谢谢您回答我的问题。

    • @yanghaiying
      @yanghaiying  9 років тому

      Yin Ding 是, 我是老师。书法是小时候家里逼的。国画是出国后画着玩儿开始的。

      谢谢您!好厉害啊,自学成才!
      羡慕中...我小时候也被妈妈逼着练习硬笔书法,也学了毛笔字,但当时毛笔字没有坚持。
      现在只是有空就用水写布练习练习,至于间架结构全凭硬笔书法的底子,不知道这样自己临帖练习能不能行呢?

    • @yanghaiying
      @yanghaiying  9 років тому +1

      都是临帖练出来的。持之以恒,滴水穿岩。只要不着急, 不泄气就成。你有微信吗?我在微信上写故事。

    I appreciate your point of view, and it’s because I love your videos and the wonderful person you are, that I would be remised if I didn’t say this. I wish you knew the work Jesus Christ did in his life, so that people could go to heaven. It doesn’t require working your whole life for karma, because Jesus dying on the cross for us was all the work needed to wash away the stain of sin on our hearts, the sin that keeps us from God. All people are born sinful, no one is pure. But once we turn away from sin and trust in Jesus Christ for that salvation- we are made holy and pure, just like you speak of. No need to wait until the end of life to guess whether you are heaven bound, Jesus free salvation is available any day and the joy and peace is indescribable. I feel like you are a friend, I listen to you so much. That’s why I want to share, because I would want to share my joy with someone I care about. -Mel

    Well, "no economic reason" isn't exactly correct, is it? I have to click through two ads before watching your clip, so there is a monetary aspect involved. Anyway, keep it up. Your videos make me happy.

      @yanghaiying  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you very much for letting me know. I went to the video setting and checked that it was skippable ads. You can always skip them after 5 seconds. Hope this helps.
