I have this issue, if you are desperate like i was before a long journey & wanted radio working, you can stop it by going into menu of stereo find park assist & turn it off or its off turn it on, stopped the beeps for me but you have to do it everytime you turn on the stereo.
@@AdrianDragan hmm yes, my 308 doesn't have any parking censors so i doubt i have park assist, but the function is still listed in menu. Had car 12 years from new & never ventured into menu until recently, i guess its possible the Peugeot unit i bought /ebay/ came from a 308 with park assist. ''shrug''

Thank you for this. The strange thing is, the radio, which I have not changed, has been working for several months since I got the car without any problems and then one day it started beeping. What could cause this after such a long time? Perhaps some electrical gremlin or fault, dampness, or earthing problem? Or perhaps it's just French garbage.

Are you sure that this new radio model also has bluetooth module? I think you may need to have the microphone connected in order to activate.
