Y'know, at first I was thinking "This song is nice and peaceful, and doesn't need the *intense symphonic metal cover* treatment" I no longer have these thoughts.
Lost Melody It sounds like a sad final boss battle. Kinda like Asgore from Undertale. Like you're forced to fight your best friend because there's no other way. Where neither of you hold back, and it's the best fight you've ever had, but both of you know there's only sad endings.
The "beautiful" boss gets jealous of 2B's beauty, goes berserk and destroys both 2B and 9S in one shot, then goes on a ramage and destroys Pascal's village and the Ressistance camp, leaving no one to match her beauty
I know, it's just the size in comparison to the Virtuous contract and 2B, The treaty is just the contract but a little bigger, so it does look a little out of place for me, sorry.

At least I feel sympathy for Eve because he loved his brother and just wanted them both to be away from anything that could hurt them. 9S just couldn't process that YoRHa was a lie and uses that as an excuse to go psycho. A2 even tried convincing him and he wouldn't listen. 9S is nothing more than a spoiled brat on a tantrum.

Saying this sort of this is EXTREMELY reductive of the writing of the characters ... Why do people think he just loved 2B ? He also hated her like a mad man ! He wanted to kill her. But he was also super possessive about her, so much that he can't allow A2 to look like her and must kill her. But he also loves her. But he is playing a super dry hacking game with his shota appearance while 2B gets to enjoy her super dynamic ( and pleasurable for android, reminder ) fights with the robots ( and the players ) in her sexy outfit, he feels blue balled as hell. 9S is literally the top 1 character, even if he isn't likable.
