- FINALLY getting around to do a Cloud Nine review! I've spoken a bit about Cloud Nine's in the past so wanted to do a quick break down of the awesome technology. At 4:13 I show you how to achieve super easy mermaid-esque waves using the Cloud Nine Wide but you can use ANY straightener to get this look!

I just wanted to update any Aussies- I found out that this week Cloud 9 offers a 3 year warranty when an iron is purchased within 14 days and registered through their site. Slightly disappointed that this isn't a marketed thing however absolutely awesome news if you are about to buy one!
Brilliant tutorial and thank you sooo much for doing it with the WIDE straighteners. I was beginning to think my wide ones were no longer going to be of use & I'd have to buy some standard ones since my hair is now shorter. Thank you 😙 🇬🇧

Great video. If you register your warranty on the Cloud 9 website, your warranty is increased from 12 months to 3 years. I bought my Cloud 9 straightener today. It was actually faulty, didn't heat up enough at all. Was able to swap it over and the new one is all good. Can't wait to try out these waves. Thanks!

really awesome and informative video, I was thinking of getting the wide straighter for myself because i have thick hair but are you able to make curls with the wide iron like the normal one?
It is a little harder but it is possible- I will be doing a wide vs normal iron video soon!
Lovely, those waves are really pretty; wondering, what temperature did you use? I just ordered a GHD platinum+
I used 175 degrees (celsius!)! GHD stays at 185 so very similar temp!

Hey! I am tornnn between the cloud 9 original or the GHD platinum plus.... I'v got bleached very damaged dry thick hair 😂ghd seems more appealing to me since its new and so I feel like it has the newest specs/technology whereas cloud 9 original hasn't been upgraded before, but love how it has temp control settings...... I cant decide and came across your channel whilst searching for good reviews! would love to hear your advice ❤️

Sorry for the late reply Kinomi- which did you end up going for? A tough decision, you would be happy with either! I have found a lot less breakage since using the Platinum + but haven't used the Cloud 9 for that long to tell a difference!

Hi! Does the cloud 9 touch gives you less damage to your hair like the platinum + promises to? I have bleach hair and I use a straightener almost everyday so I’m torn between those two. Which one would you recommend?

Hey Jasmin! I still very much love Halo, I would recommend the Kate over the GHD original so for people who are wanting to spend less than $250!

Honestly, it's the exact same! I use my normal size GHD to create this look too xx

Cloud 9 recently changed their warranty in Australia to 3 years if it's registered within 14 days of purchase. GHD Platinum+ has a 3 year warranty. Halo Kate is a bit cheaper but still great iron with 2 year warranty
Here in the UK, the warranty is for three years with cloud 9 straighteners. 🤷♀️
So disappointing that the Australian ones are only one year- how weird!
