1. Yes. It takes about 30 days after mutation for public records (khasra & khatauni details) to show new owner's name. 2. Yes. You'll get an acknowledgement receipt. 3. You can get a copy of previous sale deed from Sub-Registrar's office. You can also check registration number of sale deed that the current owner has. Hope it clarifies.

You can check the land records from bhulekh website. It will show LDA or any govt authority as the owner.

if I purchase a flat so is it required to file a mutation on plot/flat with my name?
For a flat, you have to just get your name changed in Municipal Corporation for property tax purposes.
I mean, sale deed is enough or mutation needs to be done. because flat is mine but plot is still builder's property.
No Mutation in revenue records is not required in case of a flat. Sale Deed is enough.
