Thanks for 200k subs guys, its crazy as hell!. I would love to do this series for all the decades dating back to 1870, let me know if you would like me to do it
I grew up watching roy jones junior... he is the most talented fighter of all time together with muhammad ali...both share the 1st place spot...that is just my humble opinion
Jones Jr was the total package. Elusiveness plus Power. He knew how to change levels to stagger his opponents then immediately threw power punches. Amazing precision and amazing power. Much respect!
Truly the best in his prime. Around this time he was so much more talented then the rest it was pointless fighting him. Only when Roy lost his speed & reflexes could anyone beat him. Greatest athlete of the 90's for sure a rare specimen.
Hefrron Bros he didn't ruin his legacy. He was a champ in 4 weight classes. He retired as a heavyweight contender. But atleast he had the balls to move up. He probably would of had a perfect career if he stayed in one weight class but he was determined to be the best boxer pound for pound
@@Rodageado opps my bad, auto correct, lightweight, he did fight light middleweight, but he could have fought middleweight, if stayed off the drugs, pound for pound all time, he had De La Hoya swinging at air lol, he never missed anyone that bad, Mayweather ain't got shit on PWs defense
Roy Jones Jr is the G.O.A.T on a B.O.A.T. everyone says that fighters get better as time goes on, but ive yet to see a better boxer than prime Roy Jones till this day.
Roy Jones Jr. actually had the record (50-0) if he didn't get disqualified against Burton. Oh its no surprise he is #1 on the list, the man won Fighter of the Decade by Ring Magazine.
hot take: ricardo lopez is SUPER underrated and was one of the most technically gifted boxers to have ever lived. every aspect of his game was top notch, and i actually think he could have beaten nearly anyone at feather or even lightweight, too. he is maybe the closest thing we will ever see to a flawless boxer. just a shame no one watched him due to his size.
Love to see true boxing fans and hear their respective opinions.. I'm not very old but my generation and those younger missed out on much of this, esp the dominance of RJJr which lasted basically a decade between 93-03.. Due to the direction boxing has taken since, profits and the undefeated factor now weighs more than dominance compared to competition, talent, etc.. True there are many other fighters during this era who were truly or borderline great but Boxing Legends TV was pretty spot on considering this is a topic that will forever be up for debate.. I do believe that Tapia, Mosley, Collins (Benn even) and a few others were a little more deserving in the honorable mention section over those who were chosen but again this is all debatable.. Great work Boxing Legends Tv..
Cryer24597 um no shit you dumb ass of close ali is the greatest heavyweight but ali isnt the greatest of all time outta all divisions and thats the truth i am a fanboy jones because the facts on jones shits on alot of other boxers youre an idiot and dont know shit bout boxing history and blantely says ali is better than any other boxer known to man which i agree and disagree with that but jones did fight good opponets hes like ali almost he was to dominate like ali in his 60s no man in the heavyweight divison even now could touch an 60s ali he was to dominate
You know what I love about this channel ? Despite the fact you have a golden voice, you still know the value in letting the footage be your brand. This is why I don't mind that BLTV on the screen, because it means the highest quality content.
Thanks for putting Tito on the list, he's heavily underated by many. Titos was the true champion and no one could beat him at the 147 and 154 pounds. He began to lose when he jumped weight and head to the middleweight facing natural monsters such as Bernard Hopkins and a great although old Roy Jones Jr.
I’m glad Hamed made the list because some people don’t realise how important he was to shining a light on the lower weight classes and demanding to be treated like the main event

@EXPECT LOL no, floyd may well be better and is certainly more disciplined. Roy is far more athletic and skilled.
