I had a LP50 for 4 years and found it to be the best 'air' engineering pistol I had (and have) ever used; won a couple of precision championships with it too! For the other posters who want to critique that you didn't use it in single handed mode "go buy one chaps, you will not be able to put it down" and is a lot of fun as well as being a supremely accurate pistol. And 'yes' I shoot 'real guns' too...
Good shooting Eric. I have an LP50 for 5 years. It is the best air pistol - EVER. It is extremely accurate. I have the longer barrel and cylinder and get over 100 shots per charge. I have had a few good air pistols ( FWB, Pardini, Hammerli) but the Steyr is by far the best and very reliable.
I am late in viewing this video, but it is such a good video, I still wanted to comment and thank you for well done video! You covered all the items I would be interested in (in fact seeing your video, has motivated me enough to consider a purchase of one of these) when considering a purchase. I have many guns, including PCP rifles, Feinwerbkau rifles and pistols, Walthers, and numerous firearms. This will be my first Steyr. I expect that I will be shooting it and loving it as much as you obviously do. I was very much surprised at how many shots you get with one cartridge fill. I have a Swedish PCP semiauto rifle, but it does not get nearly that many shots, even at low pressure settings.
The Steyr is still one of my favourite pistols, I have shot several thousand rounds through it without maintenence, simply excellent and a lot of fun! Regards eric

I like the gun very much after seeing your video, thanks ! Looks like no recoil at all. Very steady shot each time! I guess the compensator helps a lot? I always thought the compact version is for lady or kids but it looks and feel great from the video! Now I feel like getting the same version!
It is a very nice pistol and unbelievable accurate, I am not sure if the compensator makes the great deal with the recoil, I haven't tried it without. You can't go wrong either with the compact or the longer Version! Regards eric

What a pain I have got mine but it did not come with a single shot mag nor a dry fire mag...Oh no that is another $95.00 for each I feel a bit ripped off. The grip is way too small even though it is a large but hopefully the dealer is going to sort that I hope
unbelievable shot count . I have an FX Ranchero pistol which is also accurate and available in 177 and 22. but it is not semi auto . It would be super if it was semi auto like your steyr LP50. I have added a moderator because it is almost as loud as a shotgun . I like your own PRIVATE range .. no chance of any accidents .
Hallo, umgestiegen würd ich nicht sagen, aber ab und zu komm ich halt auch raus aus meinem dunklen Keller, bei Sonnenschein ist so eine Luftpistole im Freien schon ziemlich nett, im Hof kann ich damit auf 25m trainieren. lg Erich
+96morran Hi, thanks for your comment! I didn't have any issues with mine, it simply works perfect without maintenence. The only thing I do is shoot some felt projectiles for cleaning through the Barrel, sorry I do not no the correct name for this cleaning projectiles. Regards eric

However, the problem persists but seem to happen more and more seldom, havent had a double shot for maybe 300 pellets now. About 3000 bullets have gone through it now, only maintenance are felt pellets (don´t know the correct name either ;-) and som lubrication on the O-ring where the tubes fit. / BR Johan

If you fire rapidly it sounds like the last shots are not as powerful as the previous ones. Or is it just because of the acustic in this room?

About 100 rounds with one cartridge, I didn't measure the velocity, Steyr Sport says 140 meter/second. Regards eric
