I totally understand every Turkish inmigrant and student that I met here in Canada. They miss their food so much . Everything looks delicious and fresh Mark 😋
If the world was a house, its cuisine would definitely be Türkiye. I have never seen a country with such delicious food and such a developed palate in my life. Turkey is divided into regions with names, (isn't it true? Black Sea, Aegean....) each region has different spices and dishes, I was shocked. I will go to Turkey again.😻

After Jamaica, Izmir is my home away from home and one of the places I’ve visited the most on my travels! The food is delicious but it’s the people who really make Izmir such a beautiful and welcoming place. I’ll be back there this summer so thanks Mark for giving me some new spots to try this time! ❤
The first bakery have a beautiful homestead decor and I will definitely start my day with a sip of coffee there if I resided close by. Turkey has such a warming vibe & feeling from the culinary aspect to the people in general. My favorite is the battered fried sardines & the sheepshead wrapped with that fresh baked bread. The markets look splendid for a weekend walkthrough as well. What a amazing virtual Saturday treat this was honestly I can nearly smell the aroma through the screen from those kabobs & roasted charred peppers omgoodness lol. Thanks Mark for this phenomenal eye candy!! I'm learning Turkish cuisines are a must to experience from this remarkable tour!! Safe travels & blessings to you and your family always!! I was born in Izmir and now live in London. I've been missing my hometown a lot, so it felt almost magical when this video appeared in my feed. The best part is how perfectly it captures the ideal combinations of food and places to eat from there.
I am AMAZED at how many people speak English in all the countries you visit. The translations are EPIC. Also, it makes me realize we Americans should try to learn more than just English. It seems that most people, in the world, are happy to teach, if we're willing. I love that. ❤

Most farmers in the US over water their crops including Arugula/Rocket, especially in northern states where the soil has an abundance of moisture. Minimal watering will force the roots further into the ground where moisture and salts feed the plant. That's why Turkish herbs, veggies and fruits have so much flavor.
