Love it and the color! Congratulations! Glad it came before your vacation. I’ve been in my son’s Model Y when we traveled to Peoria area. Love how fast it charges. So much faster than my Bolt. Enjoy!
Huge congratulations on getting the Model Y before the end of the month!! The Stealth Grey with white interior looks fantastic. Can't wait to see your adventures going forward. You and Mrs. EV Darryl now have 2 great cars. :)
How fun. Having been in the auto sales world in one way or another for 28 years now, I can say that one of my most favorite things is the smiles and excitement when getting a new car.for myself and seeing that on others when getting their new ride. Looking forward to more great videos on this new whip! And once again, congrats and love that your family is now 100% EV.
Thank you so much. I’m still amazed at the Tesla app. My wife is at a function today and the car is parked in the sun. I checked, it was 114 degrees inside, so I turned the cabin overheat protection on, it’s amazing. (From my chair) lol stay safe.
Congrats my friend! Yeah that infotainment is intimidating at first, but once you get a hang of it it'll come second nature. The best car ever drove! Also make sure to do the light show for the kids lol!
Thank you and I will do the light show. My two oldest grandchildren were very interested in that. Of course as teenagers they are light years ahead of me in tech. Stay safe my friend.
Yes, they did a fabulous job. I was nervous, never having ordered from them or their process before. Our salesman (assistant) Vishal was very confident, he does this numerous times daily and felt comfortable it would be on time. He took time to assist us with the Tesla app, with car questions, everything. Thanks for the comment, it’s really appreciated.
That’s next level for an old man, lol. My 14 year old grandson was playing with numerous apps today, most only while stopped or supercharging. Give me time and I hopefully will get there, lol
It’s Racquetball courts. Tesla leases parking spaces from them and a movie theatre nearby to park vehicles waiting for delivery. It’s weird but you can hear them playing racquetball through the domed exterior… lol
How's the road noise on the interstate? Is the model y about the same or quieter or louder than the bolt? I have a bolt now but I've been eyeing the model y for years waiting for the juniper update.
@@maj429 I did not notice much road noise but that was the only thing you hear. It was about the same as the bolt, when we took it to Florida. It is like night and day with the Tesla navigation as well as much much faster charging. I think you’ll love the juniper addiction model Y. I’ve seen the highland model 3’s and they look great. Cooled seats would be the bomb. Stay safe.
@EV-Darryl please make sure you buy the first and main accessory, which is the screen protector. My recommended one is the Spiegen protector. The easiest and best out there. Enjoy your Y on your upcoming trip
Congrats! Remember in response to my clip: ua-cam.com/video/D_45EO5BauU/v-deo.htmlsi=SUDYMbek8ouF3U-L showing my 2024 MYP at speed of 36 MPH (no typo) throughout the entire left turn to clear an unexpected yellow, as part of my comments in your "Now is NOT the time to upgrade to a TESLA (Model Y)" video, you claimed "That was awesome but you should have seen the FSD in the rear wheel drive long range. It would have done that all by itself, stay safe."?? Now that you have a brand new 2024 MYLR AWD comes with FSD (Supervised) v12.3.6 for at least a month, please kindly demonstrate with a video clip clearly showing your shiny stock 2024 MYLR AWD, operating under FSD, can in fact do a sharp left turn at speed of 36 MPH "all by itself" throughout the entire turn. It's easier said than done, my friend.
Thank you, and yes I’ve shown my children the FSD, which is kinda scary. I will do a video on it. I was driving through a subdivision today and FSD did a 90 degree turn at 30mph, never slowing down, because that was the speed limit. It almost made me have motion sickness. Stay safe my friend.
@@EV-Darryl Documentation beats conversation! So, please do a video capture of the speedometer readouts in real time, along with the FSD graphics, on your 2024 MYLR AWD display to support any of your speed claims of it doing a 90-degree turn operating under FSD. I have an in-cabin camera doing video capturing of my 2024 MYP display at all time.

@@EV-Darryl This clip segment ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxPWIv73E4Pq_Mb5e-R1HL8JPs2OjEk3D1?si=7veJhYi1TS1ksJjW from James Locke's video shows FSD (Supervised) v12.4.2 did a 90 degree turn in a manner consistent with the way my 2024 MYP did the 90 degree turn operating under FSD (Supervised) v12.3.5 on May 3, 2024. In both cases, FSD slowed down the vehicle ahead of the 90 degree turn, and did the turn well under 30mph. You claimed your 2024 MYLR AWD operating under FSD "never slowing down" and did the 90 degree turn at 30mph; I'd say that had never happened, unless you can substantiate it with a video clip in one of your future FSD drives.
