honestly, that's why I recorded this tune. so, you're spot on. At some point much later we rebuilt the friendship, but having to end a beloved friendship was the exact headspace in which I recorded this, so thanks for the comment
I hope future generations of children will one day be able to experience adventure time like I have. I literally grew up with this amazing show. It's been around since I was about 12 (currently 20) and that is just... such a crazy time period. So much has happened in my life and this goofy show has been going along in the background the whole time. Now it's over, but the ending hit such a * perfect * chord with me, that I feel less like the show is over and all the characters have vanished, but more like they will all continue to go on, just without me watching. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend, but not because they're dying but because they're just moving away forever. They'll continue to live their life, you just wont live it together anymore. I was just born when the first clip of it aired on nickoldien so I have grown up with this show my entire life , it really hurts but the way that this show was , I know it will inspire many more people to create more things just like adventure time . it will always be in my heart and as they say "the fun will never end".
it's been around since, well, before i was born, and then when it was around its last season, i watched it all really quick and caught up, but in my hotel as i was moving, i witnessed the very last episode.
I see so many people inside of Adventure Time. When I was younger I would try to draw parallels between the characters in the show and my own experiences. Only now that I’m older and have lived out my teenager years I can really see the experiences Adventure Time was preparing me for. Finn ended up being a very relatable character, and I’m so glad I had this show to help raise me through my childhood. I’m still planning on having that spaghetti dinner.

Thanks so much for listening! My dad has the microphone I usually use, which is an AT4040, so this was recorded with an MXL 550. Pretty cheap mic, but I actually liked it a lot! I recorded the ukulele with it as well. As for software, I arrange and record in Logic Pro on a Mac.
This version is a little more upbeat and less melancholic than the original, but your voice and the instrumentals are just so pleasing to listen to. Maybe I'm just a big baby but no matter how many times i listen to this song it brings me to tears. Thank you for such a bittersweet cover!! 💕

It might mean becoming a caretaker or someone who will always be with their loved ones 3. It might mean you're becoming smarter or means you'll be leading your own life and your choices 4. It might mean you're still growing with it but you'll still be a kid at heart 5. It might mean that even though if you had a rough life, the rest of your life still makes you yourself "Stay young and always love."
I don't know if I can ever thank you enough for making this. I just went through an incredibly painful breakup and as I got back into my car after telling her that it had to end, I found this cover and played it. I cried that day in a way I never have and I can only thank you for that. It gave me such a unique clarity to the situation. I can't wait to see you become such an incredible force on youtube. I have the mental image of a character singing this to another character who accidentally zap them outside of time and space. Character 2 having an existential crisis from what they did. Character 1 being calm while sing to comfort character 2. The pictures on the wall metaphor would help organize the pieces of time. So they know where they need pop back into the timeline at.
This songs make a lot of things in me, an end of an era of amazing histories and a lot of funny momments. But series like these does never ends and the adventure will continue and continue along all of our lives and inside new histories; made by kids inspired in this that now are young men. Everytime I listen to this song I almost cry. The words have so much meaning to me. This song helps me deal with the terrifying thought of death and mostly dealing with losing someone close. Even though they're gone I still have pictures of them and that picture is a time capsule of a time we were back then. And In the time when that picture was taken, even though at the time the picture was taken I wasn't consciously thinking about death being inevitable. I still knew it is inevitable at the back of my head which is why we were singing "will happen, happening, happened". I dont know if that makes sense but with my very old grandparents I can't help but think of them when I listen to this song. thank you @MathematicPony for conveying this song so well and giving more meaning to my thoughts. Really great cover, I just finished re-watching most of the series and seeing the finale for my first time yesterday, so its kinda fitting to see this posted the next day. AT was one of my favorite shows that I slowly forgot about over the past few years, only to be reminded about it when I heard it was ending. I'm really happy to see it finally come to an end.
Exactly what happened to me too, *Adventure Time* was my childhood until I forgot about it... Then a chain reaction of events happened which led me to watch the whole series, start to finish. *One of THE Greatest Shows of the world!*
I see all these happy and grieving comments about the show but it doesn't make me feel like that. It makes me feel like things are going to keep going. The soft ,drizzly rain will always come. Those beautiful sun rays come day after day. That older blanket gets a little less soft the more you sit in it. Things seem to suck right now. They will probably still suck tomorrow. Time doesn't heal all wounds but it will numb them. You're going to be alright, you can still see the sunrays through the clouds. You can still remember how soft that blanket was. Its going to be okay, everything is going to be okay. Its a melancholy kind of joy.

This is honestly my favorite song in Adventure Time. For a song that's mostly the chorus repeated it still has a huge meaning that could be literally written on 3 different pages. Anyways hearing someone else cover it is just imagine. This time I at least didn't cry. . . I mean.... " *sweat from my eyes* ". Anywho keep up the good covers. I'll be sure to check out more.

I just went through an incredibly painful breakup and as I got back into my car after telling her that it had to end, I found this cover and played it. I have the mental image of a character singing this to another character who accidentally zap them outside of time and space. Character 2 having an existential crisis from what they did. Character 1 being calm while sing to comfort character 2. The pictures on the wall metaphor would help organize the pieces of time. So they know where they need pop back into the timeline at.
This songs make a lot of things in me, an end of an era of amazing histories and a lot of funny momments. But series like these does never ends and the adventure will continue and continue along all of our lives and inside new histories; made by kids inspired in this that now are young men. Thanks for making this song feels more nostalgic and magical; nice voice btw, u got talent.

Everytime I listen to this song I almost cry. The words have so much meaning to me. This song helps me deal with the terrifying thought of death and mostly dealing with losing someone close. Even though they're gone I still have pictures of them and that picture is a time capsule of a time we were back then. And In the time when that picture was taken, even though at the time the picture was taken I wasn't consciously thinking about death being inevitable. I still knew it is inevitable at the back of my head which is why we were singing "will happen, happening, happened". I dont know if that makes sense but with my very old grandparents I can't help but think of them when I listen to this song. thank you @MathematicPony for conveying this song so well and giving more meaning to my thoughts. Really great cover, I just finished re-watching most of the series and seeing the finale for my first time yesterday, so its kinda fitting to see this posted the next day. AT was one of my favorite shows that I slowly forgot about over the past few years, only to be reminded about it when I heard it was ending. I'm really happy to see it finally come to an end.

Those beautiful sun rays come day after day. That older blanket gets a little less soft the more you sit in it. Things seem to suck right now. They will probably still suck tomorrow. Time doesn't heal all wounds but it will numb them. You're going to be alright, you can still see the sunrays through the clouds. You can still remember how soft that blanket was. Its going to be okay, everything is going to be okay. Its a melancholy kind of joy.
