0:51 The shot of the panel shows "121.50" in the active COM labeled as "KBOW TWR". I see on AirNav the following entry: "BARTOW TOWER: 121.2 121.5R [0730-1730]" I haven't seen that before. Does this indicate that the tower has receive-only on 121.5? With 121.2 also listed as tower, why did they have you on 121.5? TIA for any info.
Hi, Capt! Watching your vids and they are great! We do operate a Phenom 300E and my boss is looking for a Excel Gen2.... We are Brazilians an our normal trip takes 620NM, 1-3 PAX normally. What do you consider for time & fuel burned for this trip? Good flights, keep posting!
I've heard a lot of talk about this lately. Your co-pilot is saying "dampener" versus "damper". The consensus is that "damper" is the proper word. Correct?
So ya got a free GulfStream? I remember someone having to buy an M2 a few years ago and you having to pull the “$4 million Jet Card” for them to throw in a free Cessna hat.
Welcome to the BAHAMAS 🇧🇸 🎉
Great video Capt! Always a pleasure watching these
Last couple videos have had some nice weather scenery, really enjoyed watching.
I tell you pilots are so underrated.. great flying.
Thanks.
Captain James "Jimmy" Moonbeam is back in the saddle and the filthy side is down baby!
Up up and awaaaay! Geronimo!
Thanks for taking us with you. Looked a nice flight. Stay safe Jim!
Welcome to the Bahamas

Smooth landing. 6:00 What does this mean? No radar😅
Thank you for sharing your great trips.😊
Kodiak 100 pilot/owner here. In 🇨🇦. Fun to watch, cheers.
Oh man, love all your vids but this is great!
Love the dry wit between pilots and the left seat with 20k gives us all confidence.
Your copilot seems to have probelsm with the readback, forgetting the QNH..... More training?
I never find a use for the word dampener, but you copilot loves to use dampener for the Yaw Damper checklist item.
Good stuff.
Hi, Capt!

can't say for the Gen 2 exactly. But, for the XL I use 1,700 lbs first hour. 3,000 for 2 hours and an enroute burn of 1,200 lbs per hour.
Do you always have to ask permission before diverting around storms?
If you're on an IFR flight, under normal conditions, yes. But, in the end the pilot makes the final decision.
How is the aircraft secured when you leave it for a follow on crew? Take the keys?? LOL!
They do have a TRACON in Nassau. But Miami Controls the Enroute Airspace!
Nice flight!
Great flight
Thanks Fred.
Love seeing my country in your videos 😊
Thanks
The sheer brutal abuse those things will put up with is amazing. Say it all, “slowtation” and the like. Those things have crazy dispatch reliability.
Great flight into MYNN. Tower forgot to clear you to land. I've landed there several times.
Jimmy Rules!😍
That crystal clear blue water ✊🏾✊🏾no tetanus shots needed, could see everything, got me ready to go fishing no rod just linnnneee

A heavy rainfall is a dampener. A checklist item is a damper.
Espectacular flight !!!!!! ☝🏼☝🏼👍🏼👍🏼✈✈👨🏼✈👨🏼✈

Psalms 23-4
You can take the Captain out of the GulfStream but you can’t take the GulfStream out of the Captain or at least that’s what the salesman said !
You made me laugh😀

Thank you Captain , your skills and knowledge make me smile
👍
Good video
Nassau doesn’t have radar ?
Of course it does.
New drinking game: take a shot every time the guy in the right seat prefaces his radio calls with “Ok”.
We used to do this with This Old House every time Richard would say "okay" 😂
Love the Bahamas...thx
If ever you find yourself at kteb, I have a cup of coffee with your name on it
Yaw "damper" not "dampener"
Hey, moonbeam, what type airplanes have you flown that has a yaw *Dampner*? That's what I thought... None.
It is in the South, just like we warsh our cars. lol
