  • a brief time-lapse of me cleaning and piling a Honeywell TurboForce fan that I got from a friend of mine. When I wash the fan parts, I dunk them in water, spray it with Simple Green, and use a toothbrush to scrub the dirt off. I oil the motor with 3 in one oil. Off camera, I had to do some work on the bearings because I broke them while taking the fan apart and it sounded crunchy. I parted out some washers from another fan and it doesn't sound crunchy anymore.
    Some info on the fan-

I wanted to see how to remove the fan blades, but the video speed was too fast to see much of anything. If the speed had been slower, this would've been a great video.

Yeah, I figured that out pretty quick. In my next cleaning, fixing and oiling videos I made them a quick edit and didn't speed it up so you could see me tear down the fan, but not have to watch a 15+ minute video. I have a couple more of these fans and maybe I could make a video of me cleaning them and oiling them so you could see.

Appreciate fast videos esp those w/o showing all the useless nonsense. But this vid was sped up way too fast one can't even see how the parts are taken apart or where the gaskets, o-rings or other small parts were removed from that it simply makes this whole tutorial useless. So, what's the point of watching if we can't learn how to do what you're doing.

I just post these kinds of videos just to show me taking it apart really fast so it would look cool. I'm not trying to make a tutorial, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks
