Welcome to my channel!
This channel is mainly about my hobby of fan collecting. You will see lots of fan spotlight videos here as well as fan restorations, fan sightings, and annual fan collection videos. I get lots of my fans from Facebook Marketplace, thrift/antique stores, and from the curb on trash days. I am very passionate about fans and have been collecting since 2013.

Old Video - In-Depth Cleaning and Oiling of a Fan - Holmes HPF1151 Pedestal Fan
Three years ago, I found this Holmes Pedestal Fan by the curb on trash day. It's supposed to be a misting fan, but the mist attachment didn't come with it unfortunately. But the fan itself works really well, so I kept it. In this video, I am going to show a quick edit of me cleaning and oiling this fan. In the end I will show it's current state. I initially recorded this video on June 10th, 2021 with my Samsung Galaxy S7 and it is one of my first cleaning and oiling videos, so it is special. I meant to put this video together and post it whenever I made it, but I forgot about it and I recently found it in a random SD card I have.

Honeywell TurboForce Oscillating Table Fan

Honeywell TurboForce Oscillating Table Fan. When I got this fan, it was in bad shape. The part that adjusts the angle of the fan and holds the head of the fan was broken off of the base when I got it and it was dirty. It ended up being easier to fix than I thought it was with something called plastic welding, where you use a soldering iron to melt two pieces of plastic together. It was also mis...

Galaxy 2151 16" Oscillating Fan. I got this fan off of Facebook Marketplace for $5. It was a steal considering how hard these fans are to find and how good of shape it is in. These fans blow an unbelievably good amount of air. On Ebay I've seen these fans priced anywhere from $100 to $200, so this was a steal for sure. This is my fourth 70's to 80's era oscillating fan made by Lasko. Model: 215...

Hi Everybody! This is my end of 2023 fan collection video showing the fans I have collected over the years. This year, I tried to put in as many fans as I could in this video including some strange fans from microwaves, ovens, and computers. I ended up with 82 total fans in this video and that is about 20 to 30 more than last year. This is what 10 years of fan collecting looks like, so enjoy th...

Hunter Arvada 52 inch Ceiling Fan. This fan is in brushed nickel finish with frosted glass. This fan is installed in my room. It works pretty well and is in good shape overall. It blows a decent amount of air. The only thing wrong with it is that the LED light on it makes a really bad sound when you turn it on. These fans were sold at Lowe's back in the early 2010's. Kmart K-223 Box fan. These fans are made by Lakewood, obviously. I spotted this fan in my neighbors' garage 3 years ago and we asked if we could take it off of his hands and he said yes. He said he hasn't used it in a long time so that's why he let me have it. It's in ok shape, it has some rust in the cabinet, some yellowing on the plastic and small parts of the grilles are broken. Minka Aire Sunseeker 60" Outdoor Ceiling Fan. I got this fan off of Facebook Marketplace for free this summer. It is in pretty good shape, there is a little bit of wear on it from being installed outside. Other than that, It works well and blows a lot of air. The one thing wrong with this fan when I got it was the capacitor was bad. Once I replaced it, it made a huge difference when it comes to...
Honeywell TurboForce Fan Cleaning and Oiling

a brief time-lapse of me cleaning and piling a Honeywell TurboForce fan that I got from a friend of mine. When I wash the fan parts, I dunk them in water, spray it with Simple Green, and use a toothbrush to scrub the dirt off. I oil the motor with 3 in one oil. Off camera, I had to do some work on the bearings because I broke them while taking the fan apart and it sounded crunchy. I parted out ...

Monte Carlo Builder Supreme Ceiling Fan. This fan is in decent shape. It does its job as it should and puts a surprisingly good amount of air for a builder fan. I love the fan collection i have that exact old lasko desk fan the white one
Thanks! That's cool that you have the same fan.
I wanted to see how to remove the fan blades, but the video speed was too fast to see much of anything. If the speed had been slower, this would've been a great video.
Yeah, I figured that out pretty quick. In my next cleaning, fixing and oiling videos I made them a quick edit and didn't speed it up so you could see me tear down the fan, but not have to watch a 15+ minute video. I have a couple more of these fans and maybe I could make a video of me cleaning them and oiling them so you could see.
I have one the same I bought on ebay the same is from September 2005
That's cool!
Where did you get that blue galaxy box fan
@@richardmccauley8225 Somebody in my old neighborhood threw it out and I cleaned it and spray painted it. It was originally white.
How Old Are you please reply to this bye
I have this fan in my son's room
Oh cool!
do you still have the Windsor and browne studio collection where is it
How Old are You
What kind of blade brackets are those. Please reply to this bye
I looked for a while, but I couldn't find any blade arms that matched this fan since it is on the rarer side. I'm sorry
what shape is it
I'm not sure
@@TheFanFanatic77 what color is it
@@TheFanFanatic77 Is It Blue!
❤
The microwave fan is looks like almonard exhaust fan!!!
Yeah, it does look like one
Basically a Hunter Dempsey with a downrod. Is the capacitator bad on this?
No, I don't think so since it blows a decent amount of air. We have two of these in my house and they both look the same on all of the speeds
@@TheFanFanatic77oh ok
Bring back the good old 36" spinner ceiling fans, we need those....... but in modern colors tho...lol
Yeah, these fans are absolute beasts!
❤
I just bought three of these from Amazon. Cant afford an air conditioner this summer so im doubling up on fan power
Nice! These are great fans to have.
The fan cleaned up well and will run great for a long time. I have a weather shield lasko myself, they rank better than the 3733 in my opinion. Good work with the clean and service of the fan.
Thanks! Yeah, I agree that they run better than the 3733. I used to have one that I got from the Home Depot in 2017 and about 3 years ago the blade broke on it so I tossed it.
Nice work that looks like a solid fan
Thanks!
Glad you got this Lasko box fan cleaned oiled excellent job
Thanks!
I have one I bought thrift store yesterday as the same fan and my relatives in Oklahoma and it's in one of the sunroom house.
Oh cool!
Great fans, love the sounds of the galaxys at start :) (For some reason its stuck on no notifications that is why im late.)
Thanks! Haha, technology can be weird
I want one 😢
LOve the fans!
Thanks!
That's like me minus the ceiling fans and smaller collection size even if I collect fans for a while, looking forward to my next collection video.
Oh wow! Yeah, I'm looking forward to your video too!
Happy last day of 2023 looking forward to 2024
Yeah you too!
Nice fans
Thanks
nice.
I have one exactly like this and 1 in white in my collection
Nice!
@@TheFanFanatic77 thanks
Oooh I remember these! Never liked them based off the catalog image but the real thing looks great!
Yeah. It has a cool style
Is there a way to turn this thing on without the remote?
Just with the switch that turns the fan on on the wall.
I don't know exactly but I think when you flip off the switch on a certain setting set to on the remote it will turn back on to that setting when you flip the switch on again.
You can also wire it without the receiver for the remote
Allen roth laralyn
This is FAN-tastic!
Ha! Thanks.
You need to find a Cinni! They are made in India and they are excellent!
Alright!
There are Indian smc made fans, Havells being a Indian knockoff of Hampton Bay's TP121A, Usha being a multicolor and blade fan coming in purple, red or sky blue.

i just got one yesterday

I saw a lot those fan at old school's but they didn't have a knob they had buttons and they hadded mesh wired grills.

@@TheFanFanatic77 ur welcome, the 227s r cool 2!
@@Treysen-gj1jq yeah, with the 7 teal blades!
Appreciate fast videos esp those w/o showing all the useless nonsense. But this vid was sped up way too fast one can't even see how the parts are taken apart or where the gaskets, o-rings or other small parts were removed from that it simply makes this whole tutorial useless. So, what's the point of watching if we can't learn how to do what you're doing.
I just post these kinds of videos just to show me taking it apart really fast so it would look cool. I'm not trying to make a tutorial, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks
You know what, I'll slow it down the next time I do one of these. Thanks for your advice. It's really heplful
Editing is amazing!!!!
Thanks!
I have this same fan
That's cool
Dude loves him some fans! I love it, nice collection.
Thanks!
Harbor Breeze Spectrum IV
I think mine is the homeowners max
Yeah. I think so too
These are also sold in showrooms
That's cool
The model is “Ellington”
We have that fan
Nice
These earlier Lasko fans really kicked some air todays fans are just plain junk
True
Huge childhood fan of mine until we moved out of there in 2012 when I was 7. Sadly, it was replaced with a piece of junk 52" White Harbor Breeze Centreville.
That's too bad. These are cool fans
This was their high end builder the lower end one was the homeowner
Yeah. I can definitely see that
If it is from 2004 it is not a deluxe. That is an accessory light kit.
What kind of fan is it then?
@@TheFanFanatic77 just a regular Homeowners
