in that case it is indeed beautiful..I feel that in my country, even the people in my country are more diverse than India..but we still have the same problems including big problems, such as garbage, pollution, poverty, education, corruption, and many more
I’m a naga myself and I’ll never have the balls to even touch the fresh cut meats of those animals, rodents shown😭 and also our generation is straying away from this food culture not just because of the availability of processed foods but also because we’ve built so much sentiment towards animals/wide spread of animal lovers 😄
Many animals became extinct because of ignorant superstitions. If your generation is straying away from these beliefs, it only means the level of education has been improving. I came from a village as well and today only the uneducated folks still believe in superstitions with regards to medication (especially if involving eating wild animals). Likewise, animals are important part of the ecosystem, they help maintain the balance.
I was born and raised in Nagaland Kohima and though it may seem why they consume such foods to be wierd but I can tell you that it's just in the culture and actually very less people consume such foods. Mostly it's the Old people or people from rural parts of Nagaland.
