    Thank you so so much! I have 5 jumping spiders and started my own colony of dubia about 6 months ago. They matured a few months ago and now I'm seeing my first nymphs. When I cull for inbreeding/introducing new genes and sort for feeder donations for people who are having a hard time feeding their pets this is going to help SO SO much. Not only for my dubia but for the crickets I breed, too. Thank you!

  • @craigbean9124
    @craigbean9124 3 роки тому +2

    What size are your holes in the bottom bucket? The one that separates the babies from the frass. I have been having trouble separating the babies from the frass. So I have a separate tote that put the frass and babies in and wait for the babies to grow a little bit and then separate them again. But if you found a size that works, that would be awesome.

    That's interesting... I have three big colonies, I let them grow up until my roaches are so thick they are standing on top of each other and you almost can't see the egg crates anymore. At that point they breed like wild fire! I don't sort them, I just transfer them into deli cups using mixed sizes for reptile shops. Obviously I don't count them LOL. I make about $600 a month selling them online, pretty good money. I feed Mazuri 6F rodent food. I'm finally getting regular customers that will buy them on a regular basis, pretty cool.

    You are wearing the mask upside down. The metal bit goes at the nose so you can form it to your nose. That also puts the exhaust valve facing down, so it doesn't blow moist air onto safety glasses.
    Maybe you know this, and have a good reason for wearing it that way.

    Hey.. obviously this video was posted a bit ago…. I currently buy from a big name breeder, but am interested in what you have to offer. I’m currently trying to breed my own, but I have a LOT of females or either the dudes aren’t mature enough, because i literally see no males 😅 I started with 50 ransoms and added 200 randoms.
    They have been in my garage, I am central/southern AL, so i just brought them indoors tonight.
    What kind of substrate do you have them in? It looks to have “food” in it as well, seems how I didn’t see a food dish.
