This is very good ! How did you made the "translation" effect : pointing the camera to the plane but moving in another way ?

Now that you can use track ir in external views I think he used the scroll wheel to start moving the camera on a path and then he looked to the side or wherever the plane was with his track ir to move in one direction while looking another
