One interesting insight that comes from Enneagram is that the Type 1 and Type 5 INFJs both tend to show unusually well developed Ti. Useful skill for people who want to go into counseling, or who simply want to be good at helping friends reframe their concerns after they've had a chance to share their feelings.

Yeah I can see how the natural habit to categorize and judge information could go hand in hand with perfectionism, as in type 1. I am a 1w9, and a mega idealist/perfectionist.

I've struggled with Ti most of my life. I love the idealized world so much that when reality hits, it's like a truck ramming into me. I've been trying to strengthen it recently by putting effort into logicial activities, such as improving math, coding, and cognitive puzzles. I also love talking with friends with extroverted thinking or even if their Ti is more dominant because their perspectives are invaluable to me, I always learn so much and I can use that information going forward. I love your videos 🤍

Do you sense that strengthening Ti is doable for you? What are you typing as now? Would increasing the use of Ti show up as a re-typing? Do you think we can be high in both Fx and Tx?

Remember that Ti tertiary helps balance your Fe when making decisions. So, when making a choice, always be careful to look at your own principals and objective welfare, not just what the other person likes/wants. You'll build your Ti up with practice and maturity.
Also, you liking of idealized world is an Ni Se imbalance. Build Se by focusing on objective, focused, provable facts, not hopes, wishes, and hunches. VERY hard for we Ni doms...

I am cracking the code on the perfect balance of INFJ functions. Ni is in the lead, this is the first and foremost function we use, and it contributes to us finding new ideas, perspectives, inspirations, ideals etc. Then Fe is useful as a compass, we get so much benefit from talking with others, especially other feeling types, and getting their feedback on our ideas. Our third function helps us to organize those thoughts and ideas. It can definitely be strengthened, though writing, journaling, reading, reflecting, etc. Finally though, our Se is very necessary. We need to be able to take action to make anything tangible happen. This is our weakest function, so it drains us the most. But, if you just do a little bit at a time, take baby steps every single day, it will strengthen and your tolerance for Se heavy activities will increase. I am going to make a video about this. Thank you for watching and commenting, I am so happy you are here

Wow, that's an awesome video, You've provided thorough deep insights on introverted thinking and its consequences was the unique part, I really admire the amount of effort you've put in to clarify those topics with more simplicity. I think the next video will gonna be on extroverted sensing, 😊

Ti tertiary position in the INFJ sounds so valuable. If you could, would you bump it up one spot to auxiliary, thereby being more akin to ENTP?

When your say "make the most out of the other functions", are you talking about the 4 functions of the ego or all the 8 cognitive function?
    At 1:13

I was referring to the four cognitive functions for an INFJ specifically. Ni, Fe, Ti, Se
