17:00 I know there is a setting for the vector indicator to disappear when in the center. I use HOSAS so not sure if the heading string thingy has that same disappear effect or if there is a way to turn it off, but I have mine set to always on and not to disappear.
18:36 wow WAY more visible vertical thrust plumes. I love this. Always looked so strange that a couple tiny candle flames could lift a multi hundred ton craft. Hope it applies to all ships. Simply longer plumes.
Anvil really needs to change the color of their HUD elements. I love how the altimeter is so faint it is barely readable against the black of space even. I also love that they put the altimeter up on the HUD but not the speed. Put the speed on the HUD and keep the scroll thingy and indicator for which mode down there on top of the MFD.
I just don't like that we don't have precise information on our speed and speed limiter anymore. It's so small on the bottom left. While I have almost the entirety of the bottom right to give me a very precise info about the after burner. :/ I want more PRECISE flight info. I think it's the same with the arrow pointer. It's a bit flashy but theu hud is getting less and less precise imo. It's my only problem with it.

Also, LOL is the sandworm tattoo the reason the rumour mill started speculating about "surprise sandworm in 3.24.2"? Overall i reallly like this. Tattoos and piercings strangely gives me an early days EVE Online vibe, in a very good way. SC always felt a little bit too "clean and bright", both the characters and in some cases the ships (well TOTAL lack of customization in the ships, where are org logos?). But with this its starting to feel just a hair more gritty. Love it.
Nay, Valakkar sandworm ID's and .XML's were found in reference in a block of data strings, specifically for foley, it likely not even new data. For context as well, Foley is the reproduction of sound effects that are added to media in post-production to enhance audio quality. 3.24.2 and 4.0 unlikely as the worm currently is set to be on Lier III in the Lier system. Its a mostly meaningless find other than "Sounds are being dev'ed." And I doubt CIG is going to surprise players with a whopping 5 extra surprise star systems with Lier being one of them or something like that.

not another HUD change :/ the Radar thing is nice, the altitude over ground aswell. the rest is going to be a major adjustment i think. the new character customization is really cool though :D
They should have given us more options not taken options away: No menu button, power blocks instead of values, so much more. Make things have simple sure, but let us get deeper if we want - ITS PC
I was going if I'd managed to get a volunteer placement like in 2019, however I didn't this year round, I've had too much medical stuff going on to get both a ticket and the hotel :P

The Carrack always had those exhaust plumes, the Starfarer does too
They usually only kick on when VTOL is active for this ship, they do seem bigger tho

Ship velocity is on the hud however its got the problem if being small and not high enough to see when you need to see it quickly
